Hi guys.....have not been here for awhile. I'm currently using a Provari with Boge 2.0 LR cartos, in a homemade tank. I seem to be having trouble finding the Boges now due to newer technology. I haven't checked out new equipment for awhile, as have been totally satisfied with what I have. After doing a little research, I think the clearomizers are now the way to go. Could someone please advise on what I need to replace cartos?

Perfect.....thanks so much! How long typically, does a coil last?

That's a good question but not very easy to answer. It depends on your e-juice/liquid as some will "gunk" up the coils faster than others. Also how much power you put through them will have an effect. If you clean them buy soaking them in vodka or isopropyl alcohol you should get more life out of them.

I haven't used a clearo for a while so I am sure someone will chime in with a more definitive answer very soon.

If you get a nautilus or nautilus mini or beyond vape silo (not silo lite) you can use the new BVC coils and theyre great. How long they last depends on how you vape. Im using mine on a Vapor Shark RDNA at 11 watts and its been going strong for over a week. Some people say they get 3 weeks at around 7-8 watts. Some say they only get a few days at 14-16 watts. Hope that helps.

Ok....I'll order the Nautilus, and the BVC coils. I ask about coil life just to figure out how many replacements to order. I use my Provari at 4...4.2 volts, and vape a couple of tanks a day. I've never used an atomizer, as I liked the cartos better. I assume the vape will be similiar to what I'm used to with the clearomizer?

Nautilus or an RBA will be leagues better than the slotted carton tank systems from the past. I used a tank like that on a megalodon for a few years. I was blown away when I bought my first genesis style tank. The nautilus will provide the easiest vape, pop a coil in and fill it up. RBA would be more tinkering but provide a better vape, flavor wise and in vapor production. Either choice will be a very noticeable improvement.

Sharon,

I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the vape quality out of the nautilus. In my opinion, it is far superior to a boge carto. (I used them for a couple months and loved them).

If you really want to take it to the next level I would get an eh pro kayfun lite v2. This is a rebuildable atomizer, and the reason I suggest it is because if you have a home made tank it sounds like you aren't opposed to doing some tinkering. The kayfun is a rebuildable so you would have to build your own coils, but the vape quality is absolutely amazing. I can't even compare a carto to a kayfun style atomizer. I feel like its not even in the same league.

If you are considering a rebuildable there is a plethora of information on this forum. If you want some more info let me know, and I can provide you some info.

In my opinion you will get a far superior vape with the Nautilus over cartos, but of course that is subjective. :)
I would get the Nautilus and a few spare coils and just see how long they last for you with your style of vaping.

I am very much opposed to tinkering!:DMy homemade tank is a piece of syringe, with two rubber thingies on each end. It works perfectly...no leaks...
I do like the look of the delta, as it's stainless steel, and won't break. is the glass nautilus breakable?

The glass is breakable but I believe replacement glass sections are available.

I have to agree with the Nautilus suggestion if you don't want to rebuild. I vape heavy VG based juice and get at least three weeks out of the coil heads but of course YMMV. I have noticed that if you are vaping a delicate juice the heads can cook what is in the tank and turn it dark.

All in all though they are the best available disposable head based tank on the market right now IMO.
