Blinking Provari?

What's up guys.... Well I just got a Provari (on ECF) and I'm getting the blinking warning...... Problem is, its after about 2 hours of use? The batteries are brand new hi-drain "Red" 18650's. They have been charged 1 time. Is this normal? Right now I'm using a LR 2.0 Boge carto. Just wondering if I got some else's problems.

Yes I had the same problem. Turned out to be a bad battery and it was brand new. It would only last half as long as my other batteries.

There was also an upgrade for the endcap spring that addressed this problem. I've had new batteries take a charging cycle or two to get their full capacity. Make sure all threads and battery terminals are clean and if things don't improve, send Provape an email or just order a hot spring.

Did you "Cb" to see what how much charge was left in the battery? Sometimes my Provari will start flashing at 3.7 and all I have to do is unscrew the cap and screw it back in and it stops. What strikes me as odd is that I'm using the new spring they sent out with the extension rings when the Provari Power batteries were introduced. It's due for a cleaning and fresh Noalox, so that might be it.

Hello,

i suggest you purchse the provari 18650 2500mah protected...batteries last 2 days without blinking and once blinking start its around 3.5-3.4 left in the batt...IMR batts are usually better for mechanical mods...provari 18650 2500mah batts are the way to go with the provari....goodluck!
