For me, one thing is I eat a lot less of my favorite chocolates, cakes, and sodas, and I dropped a couple of pounds. I really don't need to, but it wouldn't hurt.
I drink a little more water in it's place though. I am not trying to do this purposely, it just happens.
Maybe it's because of the sweet tasting flavors I mostly use. I think this is a good side effect..
