What other tanks, clearomizers, etc can I use? Ego Twist

So far I have gotten comfortable with the Kanger tanks and T3S's replacement atomizer heads. Seems simple enough for my tastes and I'm pleased with the performance. However, I can't but wonder what else out there "Fits" my Ego Twist and works well or even better?

I believe I can use the Pro tank 1, 2 and 3 but not positive. (?) I am still not sure I understand the difference between a cartomizer and a clearomizer and whatever else there is out there. Anyway, what other combos out there work with Ego Twist? Why do you prefer them over a Kanger and T3S? Etc......

Thanks.
PS.... I am mainly a VG guy cause I love the vapor. :)

The Kanger Pro Tanks (I like the minis, myself) work great with the Ego batteries.

So far as VG goes, it's hit or miss. Some VG liquids are too thick and don't wick very well in the tanks. If the liquid appears thick and syrupy, it likely isn't going to work well in the Pro Tanks. I'm currently using the Pro Tank 1 & 3 with 50/50 mixes and it's vaping like a champ, but when I attempted some Phillip Rocke Grand Reserve (20/80VG) it wasn't wicking well at all. However, the Grand Reserve is a pretty darn thick liquid. I've used Virgin Vapor's 100% VG blends (which are thinner) in these with no issues at all.

I'm a finicky person in that the liquid needs to taste like liquid, not plastic or some other stuff that the tank is made of. The Kanger Pro Tanks are nice because they have glass reservoirs so the flavor is good.

Good luck! :)

Thanks to Susan~S for providing the links to my two blogs. :)

If you wish to stick with clearomizers, the Mini Protank and Mini Aspire Nautilus look and perform good on an Ego battery. However, all clearomizers use tiny wicks and coils which have their limitations. They are often prone to inconsistancy and muting flavors.

Advance up to a cartotank. An entirely different wicking system from a clearomizer. Ten times the volume of wick material. More flavor and more consistancy.

A 15mm diameter IBTanked pyrex tank is the perfect size for an eGo battery.

hey cmbconcretefire, welcome to ECF

I’ve bounced around thru many of the popular topper-tanks
and always come back and/or continue to use the T3S series
(T3S-MT3S-mini T3S-EVOD) , they can all use the same coil and
I think where you will see the most significant improvement is to use ‘cotton’ to wick with…:p
big flavor gain and simple maintainence

- Kanger T3s/Mini T3s/MT3s
- Kanger T3S clearomizer
- Kanger mini T3S clearomizer
- Kanger MT3 Rebuildable Clearomizer - Blue
- Kanger eVod bottom coil clearomizer - Blue

bcc is best with thick juices

what you are experiencing is the 'hobbyist' in you trying to get out :D
just plan your strategy, and get what you like, most all will FIT ego/510
if there is a shop around, go test drive some and see how they look on a twist

sticking with your T3S's isn't a bad thing
but if you feel the need to tweak with something,
maybe something along this line might appeal to you...

- Kayfun Mini V2.1 Rebuildable Atomizer Clone By IVOGO

other notables:
-top-coil clearo
-air-flow-controllable
-RDA (dripping)

good luck, keep us informed
