I used to prefer 80/20. Coming off smoking reds I loved the throat Hit and flavor is supposed to be way better. Then eventually I was like well 50/50 should be a good balance between flavor and plumes. Now lately I bought some 30/70 and I love the vapor production and flavor is still decent. I understand people who have pg allergy and want max vg. I think I will stick to 50/50 or higher vg. What do you guys think?

Hi Scott,
How has your experience changed as you have changed ratios?
Have you experimented with different brands of VG/PG and nicotine?

Thanks for sharing,
keep coming back
Stuff like hangsen I've tried is mostly pg. it's just kinda harsh dries your throat and makes not a lot of vapor. Have had Max vg from mbv but usually get add some extra flavor. Bobas bounty is a great max vg juice but clogs coils. 50/50 I would have to say has a great flavor to vapor ratio like I said. But I'm loving the plumes of 70 to 30. I don't think I will ever vape exclusively max vg. To mainstream. It's like everyone is scared of throat hit like it's bad for them

I was about the same place as you, same time and slowly upped my VG to 50/50 for ease of diy mixing. Coming from 24mg/ml 70/30VG. Stuck with it since.

At under 15W, I think many of us here use 50/50 12mg/ml.
I vape 12 mg at 45 watts lol. Up your game tootle puffer. Haha I kid. I do vape that but that's the norm to be honest.

Some of us are TP's because we literally can't handle that much heat, lol.

That is a bit of a misconception. Higher power does not necessarily equate to a warmer/hotter vape. I am quite confident that the vape i got from my Kayfun at 14W was warmer than what i am getting on my dripper at 35.

It's not too hot. I was coughing a little bit after a hit earlier. I might back down to 40. Bare in mind it's in an rda with high airflow. Most tp isn't high airflow. I kinda wanna get some tp stuff. You know maybe a nautilus or kayfun. Would cut down on my juice consumption. Fun stuff. I remember those days.

100VG. I used to use 50/50 and would likely still prefer it, but i my body does not tolerate PG well at all.
You aren't missing out too much. Just add more flavor. A lot of people water it down with like 20 or 30 percent so it's not so thick. That's why most people say max vg and not 100 percent.

People should start just saying like 60 VG or 50 VG rather than 60/40 or whatever. I mean if it's 60 VG obviously the other 40 is PG. It would help because some people just say their ratio like 60/40 but you don't know what the VG or PG part is. I know someone is gonna say "but it's universal the xx out of xx is always PG" but it's not always like that. Maybe the higher number is always VG? idk...just my 2 cents.

Anyhow. I vape 50 VG on my mini protanks and 65 VG on my subtanks and drippers.

I have to use at least 85% PG, or I can't breathe without wheezing; lately I've been using 86%, but my asthma is responding well to my upgrade in medications, so I'll probably go back to 85%. If I vape any less than 80% PG, I really can't breathe well at all, and even at 80%, I get that choking thick mucus in my throat, which is why I stick with 85% and up to maybe 88%. At 90% however, after a very short time I start having a sore throat which becomes cherry red, and the inside of my nose and sinuses feels burned.

When my daughter and I were using cigalikes with cartos, anywhere from 100% to 65% pg was good for us. When we switched to Evods, the higher pg was much too harsh for us to enjoy. We switched to 50/50, and that is what we mainly use now. We have found, however, that up to 70% vg is good for us, too. There are a couple of vendors that we enjoy who do not offer 50/50, and the closest pg/vg ratio to 50/50 that they offer is 30 pg/70 vg. Depending on the flavor, we may change our coils a bit more often when vaping eliquids from these vendors, but we enjoy the flavors offered so the sacrifice of slightly shorter coil life is worth it to us.
