I used to only wrap round wire. I tried twisted 24g wire that I hand twist, and I like the vapor production with the warm vape that isnt hard on the cotton. Now Im thinking would one of those staggered staple fancy pants coils be even better? I use twisted 24g canthal wire with four wraps. I dont remember the mm but it comes out to .11ohm dual coil at 100w on a soft curve, in a drop rda. What prebuilt coils should I try based on this info?

In my personal experience exotic coils are mostly only useful for competition cloud chasing. They have a significantly longer ramp time and often little to no flavor improvement. They can increase cloud volume though. There also can be an advantage in mods with low available coil area as they allow you to get more metal into a device that normally wouldn’t hold it. In general I personally find twisted coils to behave better than exotics because in a twist coil all the wire is heat wire so the ramp time can be much improved. YMMV though of course. That’s the thing about vaping. Personal experiences tend to differ radically.
