I got my hands on an rda. I searched google, and found conflicting information. One site said it was a Phoenix v4, it looked like an ERA on another, and one site said it was either an Octopus or a Squid. It said "atomizer" on the little label on the store shelf. I just pointed to it and said, "I'll take one of those." My fault that I did not ask the person working there. He just assumed that I knew what I was buying.

So. WHAT IS THIS?

Looks like a Smoktech octopus rda. Can't see what the deck looks like.

I have a Mini Octopus and it looks very similar(but mine is black), Does the center pin have a screwdriver slot in it? Does it have thumb screws? Are the posts and center pin brass? If the answer to my questions are a yes then you have a Smok Tech Mini Octopus. If any of those are no you most likely have a FT clone I wanna say called the R5. I also have the clone but everything is chromed and the center pin is non adjustable, along with rod and prince style screws for the posts. The knock off and original are both good but my knock off had a very loose cap.

It has allen screws. It is all steel. friend of mine bought a similar one from a different store. His has brass colored thumb screws. We drilled out the air hole on both of them. Mine took 3-4 minutes with decent pressure using a 1/16 drill bit. His took about 5 seconds. His is aluminum. The center pin appears to be adjustable, but turning the screw seems to just turn the center post without moving it up or down. I'm sure it is a clone. It works great, though.
