Hello,

I am looking for an alternative for my beloved Endura T18.
Reason is that the coils last only 1-2 days with my NET liquid.

What rta can mimmik the draw sensation from the endura?
The endura has a large fanbase due to it's native cigarette-like draw.
It's not only the typical MTL restriction but also the responsiveness and the amount of vapor. With the endura you can take short, hard pulls; just like a cig.

What rta do you recommend as a very similar alternative to the Endura and what technique-details for buildig it ?

cheers

Do you have experience with the T18 ?

the characteristic is that the you can take short, stiff strong draws.
the vapor gets quite hot. It "jumps" into your mouth.
I could not stand the SIREN2 by Digiflavour.
Not the right draw-feel for me.

Is the Berrserker that different ?
I hope so

berserker (mini) ?
I used the T22 to quit tobacco. Basically the same as the T18 in draw and feel just bigger. It uses the same coil.
I said the berserker but there are others. A 24mm berserker in a 2ml set up with a draw to match the T18 and a coil at 1 to 1.5ohm set to the right watts will give you a warm tight vape similar to the T18.
The 24mm berserker set up to be a 4ml tank has a slightly cooler draw than the 2ml set up.
If you look inside the coil housing of the T18 coils you can see the top coil is set quite close to the top of the coil housing, that is why it is quite a warm vape.
A shorter more squat tight draw mtl rta will get you close, the closer the coil is to the top of the drip tip the more closely it will resemble the t18.

Too much heat in the mouth isnt good for gums etc.

thanks for your thoughts.

I own several T18 and one T22.
Although they use the same coils I do find the T18 draw much better.
The T22 is more "airy" to me. Not much but enough to be annoying to me.
In fact the T18 is the only e-cigarette I can stand by now.
Crazy obsessed with it.

As you say it gets warm. I wanted to find a nice little mod to go lower on the watts but could not find one with a draw that resembles the T18 draw.

anyhow,
I think much depends on the used wire, right?
The wires in the T18 coils are quite thin.
What is this size?

maybe I could try my siren2 with a thinner wire at 1,5OHM again.
I did not like the sound of it.

What would be a good starting point to emulate the t18 ?

the t18/t22 has two coils inside the coil housing. Both are about 3ohms, run in parallel it gives a total of 1.5ohms.
I think they are each 34ga wire with 2mm id.
You could just go with a 29ga K1 at 1.5ohm or a 28ga @1.3ohm.

Im using 32ga at 3ohms right now and it would be too cool for you. Try a 28ga at about 1.3ohms

Ok, I will buy and test 28ga kathal (?) wire today.

the smaller the number the thinner the wire, right ?

at what wattage is a 28ga 1,3ohm coil to be vaped at ?
Hi
With 28AWG at 1.3Ω, I would start at about 9 watts.
The larger the number the thinner the wire:

Hey, just try a few builds at different ohms and at different watts and see what suits your personal taste.
Heres a screenshot from Steam Engine coil wrapping with 28ga @1.3ohms
