Hi all,

Picked up vaping about a month ago (no analogs since!) and I've quickly moved to rebuildables.

I currently have tried Kayfuns/Russians, SQuape, Aqua, and Flash-e-Vapor. Is there anything I'm missing out on? Anything new on the horizon for 2014 already?

I'm pretty obsessed with this new hobby already!

the Fogger v2/v3 is a real nice vape as long as you can get past the finicky build. Although, it will be very similar to your current attys.

If you're in the market for an RDA, the Immortilizer is a real flavor producer. I have a ribbon wire/cotton setup in my Igo-W and the flavor is intense, as well as the throat hit.

I tend to stay away from RDAs because I like to take all my attys on the road and tend to set them on their sides quite often. This is the same reason I stay away the genesis styles.

I was interested in both the Taifun GT and Fogger but haven't heard the best about either. Not that they aren't good vapes, but a pain to get built right without leaking, dry hits, etc; things I never put up with, with the Kayfuns.

The Ithaka/Magoo looks pretty awesome, but I'm not ready to pull the trigger on the resistance/no resistance wire style just yet. Maybe if I get bored...

Has anyone got their eXpromizers in yet? While very ugly in my opinion, it looks to be pretty fantastic!

The Taifun GT is great. I've had little to no issue with the setup and would put it on par with my kayfun as far as overall vape

I've been vaping a little over a year, so needless to say I didn't move along quite as fast as you, but I have been getting into rebuildables recently.

I have an R91%, KFL+, and a SQuape, and I really enjoy all of them. I too had been looking for another RTA, but just couldn't find anything else that tingled my "spidey senses".

Besides RTA's, the one area I hadn't examined was mechanicals.

So after doing a lot of reading, watching a bunch of videos, and talking to several folks, I decided to buy a REO Grand with a Reomizer 2 last Friday. This satisfied my desire for a mechanical and gave me something new to build and rebuild, all with a strong support network of folks here on ECF. Best thing is, I ordered the mod, the RBA, and some bling for the button, all for $200 delivered. That's less cost than some clone tube mods I've seen.

While I don't have the REO yet, I'm very confident that I'm going to enjoy this new device! Can't wait for this vape mail!

Perhaps it's something you might like as well!

I like glass tank UD AGI, AGT and AGA-TD. I also like UD IGO-F, IGO-L, IGO-W and IGO-W4. I have a sweet spot for the 14.5mm IGO-F because it's easy to build and makes top quality vapor.
I like a topper that will blow steam like nitro purge at the strip; Aqua not a good purger. Very fond of glass tanks; not a fan of plastic.

How are you wicking that IGO-F? I'm using SS on one hole and wrap my cotton wick from the coil around it and stick the excess in the other hole. I find that to be the best method I've tried so far. Just curious on what others use.

I cheated on the purple one and drilled 2 deck holes larger. I plan to drill an additional deck hole or 2 later for fill vent and easy wick; maybe it will become a leaker desktop genny. Currently it doesn't leak a drop. I am currently using an upside cotton U in the purple one and it is wicking fine. I fill the tank then and drip a lot so I don't direct fill tank every time. I have emptied the tank several times when not dripping w/o issue.

The blue one is bone stock and it wicks good. I have 3 wicks. One skinny cotton ball wick through deck which rests on deck floor. Second wick is cloud which sits on wick #1. 3rd is mesh to assist wetting of cloud. I can syringe fill w/o removing mesh if deck holes are dry. I drip often in this AGT also. Both builds produce tasty vape and are suited for pocket carry. Like drippers w/ a level gauge.

I have 2 more AGT toppers on the way. I plan to build horizontal twisted coils. Maybe a 1/16", 5/64" or 3/32". I am testing several coils now and am still liking 1.2 ohm 3/32" twisted 30GA because it is producing rich flavor and good clouds compared to my other coils. The coil race is pretty close. Brand new, 0.055" micro won. Seasoned, 3/32" twisted won.
