I agree with most of the suggestions here. You will progress and your equipment will graduate. I have 5 ego style pen batteries (600mah to 1600 mah) and an MVP v2 gathering dust after 8 months. I now use an IPV mini and an iStick50 for my batteries. My tanks have progressed from simple clearomizers to rebuildable Kayfun Lites. Since you are used to a standard mouth to lung style of vaping, I'd suggest an iStick 30 or 50 and a Nautilus mini. The batteries will give you plenty of power/vaping time and the Nautilus will give you great flavor and keep the mouth-to-lung style vaping. Should you decide to venture into direct lung vaping, both of these batteries would easily power something like the Subtank mini.

Hey there,

I bought a cigalike kit a few weeks ago so far I enjoyed the experience. Now I would like to pass to the next level, I heard the ego-type battery is the way to go. But which one should I get?

Also about the head piece, I heard atomizers produce better flavoring than the other devices. But I need to constantly drip e-juice into their coil so I can continue to vape. I'm not a heavy vapor so it might not be a huge hassle.

Any way I would like to hear a few opinions, possibly a few product recommendations. Thanks
Whichever ego style you choose do yourself a favor and get a starter kit with 2 bats so you always have a charged one. Congrats and good luck

Welcome Jordan!

Picking the "next" device is always challenging....

I went from Spinners to VV3s to MVP2.0 to Vamo V6 to iPV Minis to iSticks. Went from EVODs to kayfun clones to Protank 2s to Nautiluses to Kanger Sub Minis & Nanos.

Do you want a "stick" a "tube" or a "box"? Do you want to "plug 'n' play" coil heads or learn to build your own? Do you want a self-contained battery or replaceable batteries? Do you "Tootle Puff" or "Chuck Clouds"?

I spent the better part of 2014 "upgrading" because something newer and shinier kept hitting the market. I've sold off my Spinners, 2 VV3s and 2 MVP2.0s. I run my Vamo at home (it's too bulky for me to carry out and about). I mostly carry my iSticks (50W and 30W) because they're easy to handle, and I almost always have a charge cable with me. iPVs pretty much stay at home because I don't want to carry extra batteries around.

So, "what to get" is very subjective. I LOVE my iSticks. I haven't tried very many tanks, so my opinions are very narrow. The Subtanks are relatively airy draws, especially compared to the Nautilus or the Protank 2. Lots rave about the Lemos and the eLeaf GS Airs. I've just never tried them, but I imagine they're pretty good. Now that I've figured out out to properly build and wick coils for my kayfuns, they're fun (pun intended) again too. I've been building an RDA - that's been pretty amusing, and I'm really thinking about investing in another one....

I've blown this into a major hobby.

If you just want to not smoke cigarettes, I would have to say an iStick 30 (smaller form factor) or iStick 50 (battery life) and a Nautilus would do quite nicely.

I started with the ego then switched to the nautilus mini tank for better flavour, clouds, then switched to the itaste clk for a bout a month before I purchased my 1st mod with 18650 battery, the sigelei 30W which I love but it's huge, just ordered the eleaf istick 50W from Vaperoyalty for 39.99. This is from someone who does not understand electronics and wants easy use. I think no matter what you start with you will probably move up, I watch a lot of youtube videos for help in picking products.

One more suggestion from someone relatively new that wants to try dripping & rebuilds I'm looking at the Kanger sub tank mini which is suppose to have the best of both worlds,I looked here:Kanger Sub Tank Mini/Nano $35.05/$26.95 | VAPE DEALS and there are a few youtube videos that show rebuilds that I believe even this female understands and can do. I watched this guys:

I order 30ml of juice from Vape Wild in the flavors I like. They also have a sample pack to try 6 flavors. I use a 80pg/20vg mix or 65pg/35vg mix. The 2.4ml tank will last me about 2-3 hours on a fill. I chain vape all day long. I started at 12mg nicotine but am down to 9mg after 8 months vaping. You will have to try what mix you like and flavor. The Ego 1100mah battery will last 4-6 hours on a charge, so get 2. 40+ years smoking and now 9 months and no cigs. If you don't chain vape all day one tank and Ego will work but it is good to have a backup.
