What should I upgrade first?

Hey guys, I've been vaping for about a week but I'm already looking to upgrade my existing equipment quick.

I currently have an eVod tank with a HS Vapour MX battery (650mah). I think if not this weekend then next weekend I'll go to my local headshop and see what they have in stock. I've heard great things about the GS E leaf tank and the Vision Spinner 2 but parts aside what should I upgrade first? The battery or tank? Thanks in advance

Edit - I'm from the UK, that might affect the variety of parts I can get, perhaps not.

I second Katyas suggestion on Innokin, they are great products for the money.

That being said, why patronize and support head shops?

We as vapers gain nothing from the association.

Add...if you buy the nautilus from fast tech, check which coils you get with it. They seem to be selling some minis cheaper that come with the old bdc style coil. These were replaced by bvc coils. I never tried the bdc ones but the bvc are excellent for me. I think the two versions of the tank are the same, others may correct me....

Never realised how cheap fast tech were for genuine products...wow...

I have a istick 20, 30 and the 40tc i dont mind the 20 watt but the 30 is much better the 40tc is nice but the battery seems to drain faster than the 30. i use mostly eleaf gs airs i did buy a nautilus mini because of all the hype and it doesnt even compare the gs air is way better has a better hit better flavor and its half the price, i would say get a istick 30 and a gs air.

I suppose, but there would still be little to no reason to get rid of it. It's always nice to have something as a back up just in case things go wrong with the nautilus (I.e glass shattering). But yeah, I doubt I'd need it.
I kept almost everything to be honest. Sometimes I pack up a load and post it off to someone in need. All my mini novas were sent off. iClear 30S went too. The original iclear 30 went in the bin. I gave away 3 mini Protanks and still have 3 left. :)

I have ordered lots of mini nautilus' from Fasttech for me and friends. The real one comes with BVC coils. You are right to point this out in general though as BDCs were pathetically bad.

Update the battery. Something like a Istick or possibly a HeatVape. The Istick comes with a 510/ego adapter for the evod the heat Vape base is reversible 510 on one side and Ego on the other. If you get another battery you can pick up an adapter in most places or even on eBay for a few $.

The evod is a good tank. That and the evod battery was my first kit.

"Upgrade" both so you can use the existing as a spare (actually buy a few more cheap EVOD tanks too for it, maybe even). I've tried upgrading several ways, and guess what, most of the juices that were truly great through the EVOD are still better in it than in anything else. That's an original single coil EVOD, I haven't liked the EVOD 2 much at all.

The only way a new battery would be better for the EVOD tank is longer life, and possibly the ability to set the power/voltage even lower. Most of the worst experiences with them are caused by excess power and voltage put out by nonadjustable batteries.

You guys really are making me consider the GS Air, oh the choices. This is going to be a difficult one. I think I'll get the Nautilus first and then try the GS Air as comparison in the future, I guess you can't really go wrong with having multiple parts (I know everything has a cost but honestly if I'm enjoying it and they're durable then it's a worthy investment in my eyes). I see the general consensus is that the iStick 30 is the way to go and perhaps Innokins in the future (unless some other products come out in the future). Now to go and do my research on the GS Air and the Nautilus Mini, it's funny, some threads are so split, I've already looked at a few threads asking "which is best" out of the two and a lot of people say the Nautilus mini's but then you'll change the thread and the GS Air is recommended. Hmm, I really guess it comes more down to preference as I mentioned before. I'm really flavour hunting, if anybody could tell me their experiences with the two and give me a good comparison on the flavour the two provide then that would be much appreciated. Until then I think it'll be the Nautilus Mini, I think the tank on the GS Air is a bit stubby, plus I generally do prefer the Nautilus' design. I guess I've got to the point where I can't go wrong with either purchase tbh ;)

Thanks for all the great responses guys.

Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping. :)

Things change here monthly, weekly and sometimes overnight. Just get one you think you'll like better. Honestly. By the time you get it, there'll be another new toy on the market. If you decide that you like vaping, you'll need another mod(s) and more toppers, eventually. The quest never ends--embrace it and enjoy the ride!

Nautilus is older than the GS Air and is sold everywhere while the GS Air is new and only a few vendors even carry it, so many vapers are not familiar with it.

More on the subject--if you have a week or so to do your research Parts 1 and 2:

Indeed you can't go wrong in either. Incidentally I have just been looking at fasttech. Mod wise you could consider the innokin mvp 20 watt. It won't fire a sub tank but it's more than enough for either the nautilus or the gs air or gas tank. Bargain at under £20. An older release for sure but it will run either tank perfectly.

If you can afford it get both tanks, while one is drying after a clean you can use the other.

I find they both taste superb. Not sure which I would choose of the two if I had to have just one.just make sure you get the bvc coils for the nautilus.

Seriously worth consideration...just to confuse you. But it may free up a tenner to buy the gs tank?...

Katya - any thoughts from a more experienced vapour than I ?

Agreed. Innokin makes great mods. But you can get the Cool Fire 4 (nicer, more powerful, better looking, smaller, with better chipset) for less--if you know where to look. I just got mine and I love it.

I still have my MVP 2 (same design as the 20) and it now feels like a brick in my hand--and I used to love it.

Aye that looks good and is only £21 from fasttech. Thinking of getting myself a new mod and was going to get a second mvp20...but this looks better...less battery life though 2000 man compared to 2600 mah...and I like that brick feel...decisions, decisions!

Try here--they are sold out ATM, but send them an email. I think they are taking pre-orders. You'll have to pay shipping, though, 5 bucks or so:

    http://www.efun.top/40w-innokin-cool-fire-iv-2000mah.html

Thanks for that...it would be shipping to uk...might drop them a line if I do decide to get new mod.

Other thing is I have a gorgeous leather holder for the mvp20 from here...could switch it over depending which I am using...

    Well, that's a different situation altogether. :)

If I owned one of those I'd buy the MVP 20. :D
