Well, just like with juice flavors, everyone is different. Some people prefer cartomizers, some people prefer clearomizers, some people prefer the ce3's, and some people only like to drip directly onto an atty. You need to try one of each to see which YOU like best.

Smokeless Image just got in their new "exclusive" ce3's, so the old ones are no longer available. I see that instead of the 5 pack for $10, these new ones are $10 a piece. I need to read some reviews about these to see if they are worth that. For that price, I might rather get a Smoktech Titan clearo tank. (Don't think about it, it holds over 4ml of juice and would likely look hideous on a little Volt)

I heard about the exclusive CE3's. I thought they came out today? I still see the 5pack of CE3's for $9.99 and I don't see the new one :( Either way, I would think buying a 5 pack of their CE3's would be a lot more economical than buying just one of their new CE3's for the same price. I have a feeling I'm missing the reason why the price is the same with the 5 pack of CE3's and their new item.

I've been talking CE3s, but they didn't come from SI. :)

Are they better/worse/the same? I have no idea.

Oh I see. Which CE3's do you use?

I do appologize. I was wrong about Smokeless Image new ce3's on sale today. They are indeed NOT yet listed on the website, and I have no idea what the price will be.

I could explain the reason for my confusion, but end the end it doesn't matter. Please disregard my previous post. My appologies to Smokeless Image.

It's no problem! Can't wait to see what they reveal!

I really like the CE3s for their performance and will probably keep using them in the future as a small-ish cartomizer. The ones from gotvapes, the Phoenix bottom-coil cartomizer, are the same as the ones from SI, but SI sells them for slightly less while gotvapes also offers them with a 510 connection. The only difference is the branding on the box, the price, and the type of cheap drip tip/mouthpiece included; they even have the same instruction card except for the name on the top. I think AltSmoke sells the same type as well.

The new exclusive CE3 style cartomizers from SI did in fact make it on to the website tonight. It just happened later than expected, because shipping took longer or something. Anyway you can find them here They've decided to call them the Nano, and they're $3.99ea or $3.49ea if you buy 5. The main advertised advantage is not needing to use a syringe to fill.

I actually prefer vaping on GotVapes' CE2 Fluxomizers, than any of the ones SI offers. These things last forever if you dry burn them periodically. They're also much better than cartos, IMHO.

You can check them out here:

FLüXomizer™ KR808 Clearomizers : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

There's also a great thread about 808 clearomizers in the forum. Here's the link:

I hope this helps.

Those SI Nanos are neat. They hold 2/3 the juice and cost twice as much.

Haha; yeah that was my first reaction too. And, don't forget, you can't use your own drip tip, because the mouthpiece on this one is integral to the airpressurevacuumsealingthingy. If they come down in price and eliminate the QC issues of the regular CE3s I'll give them a shot, and I might pick up 1 the next time I order some CE3s, but I'll have to see how people like them before taking CE3s off my shopping list.

Phoenix XL made by Better Life (from gotvapes). They can't call them CE3, but that's what they are.

Thanks. I'll check em out. :)

I just looked at em. Look pretty cool. We'll have to see how they perform!

Of course it helps :) Thanks! I'll have to check those links out. When you say dry burn, what exactly do you mean?

Is this sarcasm or am I just reading this the wrong way? Lol.

It involves taking out the insides or guts as they call them, and burning out the gunked up coil by pressing your manual battery in intervals. After you do this, the clearo is basically new again :)

Check out the 808 link I posted. In it, CyrusVap schools me on the subject and process. I'll try to find his post and copy it here for you.

The CE2 Fluxomizers actually look pretty cool and what Cyprus Vap said is really informative. Can you vouch for what he said that if you use that technique that they will last a very long time?

Also, a random question for anyone. I remember reading the description for the SI CE3's and it said in bold letters DO NOT BLOW INTO THESE. I've always had some what of a compulsion to blow into my prefilled cartos for some reason while they're on my battery. Not sure why, lol. Anyway, it said that blowing into the CE3's would break the vacuum seal and it would leak. I feel like I'd try it once to get it out of my system and see what happens. Anyone know more about blowing into these things in general? (Not just the SI's)

I haven't been able to figure out exactly what's going on in the CE3s. The primary difference with the CE3 vs other systems is the lack of filler and the use of a bottom coil, negating the need for long wicks to draw juice to a top coil. In order to make the work, there needs to be some sort of balance of air pressure/vacuum so that the juice doesn't just continually flow into the atomizer and flood it. It seems the main idea is to not introduce air into the juice-containing area except what is necessary when juice is drawn into the wicks, and I think that is the source of the "do not blow into these" warning. Blowing into the top could conceivably lead to "new" air being forced into the juice-containing bit and throwing off the balance of pressure or whatever.

I have blown throw the battery end of mine several times when I've been trying out different ways to sort of prime the wicks or trying to clear out liquid from the air tube when another experiment had caused flooding of the atomizer. I haven't had any problems caused by that, but I've never tried blowing in through the top.

Sorry that doesn't really answer your question, but hopefully it helps with understanding the reasoning that went into the warning. Steeljan has a nice video on the gotvapes Phoenix Bottom-Coil Cartomizer here (same thing as the CE3 from SI, and I believe the same as the one from AltSmoke and probably other vendors, but different than the "CE3 Smokeymizer" sold by some vendors) in which she explains a bit how they work, and what the user needs to do to ensure they work as well as they can.

Yeah, if you like your Volt batteries and want to try something other than the standard cartos (which you can refill with any juice you like as well) check out some of their other options on their site. That way you know they'll work with your batteries, you get to keep working with a company you're familiar with, and you can use up some Volt points.

Their CE3 cartomizers rock; tons and tons of vapor. They also have their X2 clearomizers, but those are in limited supply currently and may in fact be out of stock. They are getting a brand new clearomizer that's basically a bottom-coil version the Kanger T2 you may have seen people talking about. They are also getting a new CE3 style cartomizer that won't require the use of a syringe for filling, though I don't find filling them with a syringe is difficult or time consuming at all anyway. If you're interested in checking out those "coming soon" products, head on over to the Smokeless Image vendor forum and check out the posts Imagine made about them. The T2 style one is going to be called the X2-T3 and they haven't yet named their new CE3 so that thread has a bunch of @#!) in the title as a placeholder.

Where did you hear this?

Wow, been talking about it since last month and I've just been choken the chicken.over here! Man I'm about Sharp as a bowling ball.

Can't wait for these to.come out.

Haha; well it's all for the best in this case, because they've been talking about the new CE3 clearomizer and the X2-T3 arriving "any day" since then, and the Nano CE3-style cartomizer just came in a couple days ago and apparently the T3s are still in transit somewhere. So hopefully you'll be able to buy them only a short time after you first heard about them :)

Good lesson LucidAce. It sure did make it easier to understand. I'm probably going to test blowing through one of them anyway because I'm that kind of person that when something has a big red button saying DO NOT PUSH, curiosity gets the best of me lol! The Phoenix Bottom Coil XL's have my attention right now as a starting point for e juice. I understand everyone has personal preference so I might dislike them, but many good reviews written about them must mean something :) I'm assuming it's possible to dry burn these too, as with the Fluxomizers, to get a longer life from them?
