This poll is for those folks intersted in the enameled cases I'll be selling: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/polls/65232-custom-travel-cases.html

Please tell me what sizes/color you'll likely be ordering, so I can preorder enough for the first run! You can choose more than one combination, but please only if you're sure you'll order them - I'm trying to get accuracy for ordering the blanks.

Thanks!

Here is what they'll hold:

Gold or Silver:
Thin 5"case: 2-3ml bottles, 1 full ecig + 4 batteries
Deep 5" case: 2-6ml bottles, 1 full ecig + 4 batteries

Thin 7" case: 3-3ml bottles, 5 full ecigs + 2 attys or carts
Deep 7" case: 2-6ml (or 3-3ml) bottles, 5 full ecigs + 2 attys or carts

The smallest case is the 5" Thin. The biggest capacity case is the 7" Deep. The Deep case allows more liquid than the Thin.

I would recommend a 5" case if you have a 510/mini (anything less than 5" long fully assembled) .

I would recommend the 7" if you have a pen style or anything longer than 5" fully assembled.

The 7" would be good for the smaller ecigs (510/mini) if you want to carry 4 bottles of liquid or 5 fully assembled ecigs.

wow that's more bottles then I imagined, small compact case with everything you need when on the go

will the inside be easy to clean, in case of a leaking bottle or cartridge?
Most definitely! I'm struggling with the foam. I bought a HUGE sheet of 1/2" neoprine and I really hate it. Hard to cut, too thick for the case...but it's closed cell, so it doesn't absorb water and I thought that would be good.

In retrospect, I think something that is absorbant would be good - it would help keep the equipment clean, by absorbing liquid instead of smearing it all over the surface. So, I'm on the hunt for a new foam.

I tried finding compression foam, but no one seems to sell it! I'm now (at this very moment, actually) looking for foam SPONGE. It will be softer, easier to cut and absorbant. Similar to that used to pack electronic equipment.

If I can cut it right, it should just fit snugly in the case and be removed for washing. If not, I'm thinking of gluing a small magnet on the underside to hold it inplace. But I'm not sure if magnets can damage ecig components. I have a question in to the Ask the Experts forum, but haven't received an answer yet.

Actually, it'll hold 1 full ecig + 4 batteries! Or 3 batteries and 2 extra attys or whatever variation you'd want.

My husband prefers the 5" Thin, because it fits in his back pocket (don't sit on it, though! LOL)

I prefer the Deep case, though, because it'll hold the standard sample size bottles of liquid vendors sell. That means 12ml of liquid vs. 9ml.

I still need to order the 3ml bottles to make sure they'll fit. One supplier said they are 1/2" wide and that is the exact dimension of the interior thickness of the Thin cases. It could be a tight fit or be slightly too big. If that is the case, I'll have no option but to go with only the deep cases, otherwise bottles won't fit.

I'd say between 1/2 and 9/16 :)

I found a keychain container at a drugstore where it fits perfectly in, great for when on the go

Wouldn't they fit if let say there was no foam on top of them?

There wasn't going to be any foam in the bottle area. I'm cutting the foam to leave an area for the bottles.

hope it fits cause so far they seem to be the most popular
Yeah. The 5" Deep case is pretty similar though. It's only 1/4" thicker. My husband said it'd work, too. He just doesn't like the 7" long case, because it's too long for his jeans pocket.

After looking at both, the 5" Deep is my favorite. It fits 2-6ml bottles instead of just 2-3ml bottles. I'd want the larger bottles.
