Love The Band. I just saw the Last Waltz again on TV a few week ago. I saw it in the theater when it first came out. Yes, I'm that old.
I'm not quite, but I am the youngest and the music was what I listened to. It is a 20 minute block that I can come back to in a spare moment. I enjoy the back stories more, I think. Just a very well written, arranged, and performed song.
The riff during the police whistles is similar to Metallica Fight Fire With Fire.
