Made me pull out my favorite jazz album of all time. Wore out 2 copies in college.

There are a lot of them available on Prime, including that Aja one.
Mrs. M is a big Dan fan so we'll watch that later on the big(ger) screen.

Years ago someone gave me the RUSH Classic Albums on DVD. Because they knew I was into RUSH. And I was going to the "Snakes and Arrows" show.

I was really Impressed by it. So I started searching them out on e-Bay. I picked up many for less than 10 Bucks. And then when I figured out how to Save Videos from YouTube, I got the rest of the Bands I was into.

So many Music Documentaries feel like they are done by Music "Outsiders". And the Band/Studio People act a Tad Standoffish. The Classic Album series seems like it was done more with music Insiders. And the Band/Studio People open up more.

Here's a great interview.
He draws usually reticent John Mayall out and almost gets him chatting.

Quoting myself from an AudioKarma thread...
"Any John Mayall fan would probably appreciate the DVD interview (2002) included with my new box set. What a wealth of Blues/Rock history & experience. Brilliant interviewer asked interesting and intelligent questions too. I found it on YT within a minute. You gotta love these Interwebz"

John mentored Clapton, Peter Green (OG Fleetwood Mac) & young Mick Taylor (70's Rolling Stones) and always invited the cream (pun) of the crop to join his Bluesbreakers.

Here's another of Jet Martin's reviews with Dave Brock from Hawkwind

All/any of these are worth getting

RIP Michael.
I hear ya. Miss him. Was fortunate to have seen him with Steps Ahead a couple times. Also with his solo band and then when he and his brother put the Brecker Brothers back together.

I love the tenor sax. Been playing mine for 52 years now. All the saxes actually and some other instruments. Guitars, bass, keys. Fun stuff.
