-How I hated the taste of cigarettes within 3 days and how I couldn't stop tasting/smelling the smoke on myself when I had just one a day that first week. I was completely done with cigarettes after that week (almost 1.5 years ago!).
-How I can smell a smoker (sans lit cig) from across a large room. Total reekage! I am so totally embarassed that I thought a piece of gum would fix that!
-How many people have the exact same experience as me.
-How opposed anti-smoking groups are to PV's (this one blows my mind the most, since I'm not alone in feeling like these products are a pure life-saving miracle)

It does.... but I don't need to drown a good filet in it anymore. I used to not be able to eat any red meat without it. Now I can use a little pepper and garlic butter and I'm all set.

I didn't even realize I had throat phlegm every day all day... until it was gone. How sad is that?

I've always believed that if you need to put any sauce on a steak, then its just not a good steak. That was before and after I quit smoking. I've had lots of steaks that needed sauce in my life too, and unfortunately less that didnt. But then I found a few great steak places that serve great prime rib, and I learned how to properly marinate a good rib-eye before cooking it, and how best too cook it to prevent it from drying out. I remember they used to say it is good to buy one of those meat tenderizer hammers with pointed spikes on the heads, and you are supposed to hit the steak with it to tenderize it. Thats like the worst advice for steaks! Especially if you are doing it after it has begun cooking because you are squeezing all the juices out. I used to have a tenderizer mallet and threw it out!

I do like to marinate in a Worcestershire sauce mix though.

Yeah, I can understand why the tobacco companies would be against vaping, because if enough people switch to vaping, they lose even more money, but I cant understand why anyone else would be against it. Especially since society has realized how bad smoking is for you, and society has become so anti-smoking by banning it all over the place, and even refusing to hire smokers. So why would people be against something that greatly helps people quit smoking? It makes no sense at all......

Ditto, except with me it was only 30 years, and a Blu that got me off the cigarettes. WOW! Just amazing that I am a non smoker now for over a whole month! I never imagined it could really happen!

Ditto also. 2 PAD to nothing overnight. Found vaping because my cancer surgeon told me he wouldn't operate unless I quit, then recommended ecigs. Surprise a doc on our side!

Sent while sitting on my .... in my living room vaping away! :)

I'm in the same boat as a few others in as far as how easy it was for me to drop the analogs. As a 25 year, 1+ PAD smoker, I quit as soon as I took my first vape and haven't looked back.

I was thinking I'd be struggling with it like I did with other cessation attempts using Chantix, Wellbutrin, Patches, Gum, Lozenges etc., and I almost didn't even try it thinking that it would just be another waste of money and another failed attempt... My only regret is that I didn't try vaping sooner.
