If you're looking for an ecig that will got 5+ hrs on a single charge the you'll have to get a "mod" type, like a Screwdriver, GG, Prodigy, ZiMoshi ect. The batteries found in most traditional e-cigs are about/under 200mah (ecigars/pipes have larger batteries). Added to this if youre looking for a good throat hit, then you'll either have to go with a higher nic juice, or more power (voltage). In comparison, the batteries in some mods have up to a 3000mah capacity. Like most things, there's a comprimise to be made in terms of price, size, throat hit, flavor, battery-life, juice consumption... ect. I would first narrow down what you would most like in an ecig, then post the three main factors that your looking for.

In my opinion, and from what I've gained from reading this forum:

For performance (vapour production) - probably the 510 (Janty Dura-C or Titan).
- the main con is battery life.

For 'cigaretteness' (similarity to an analogue cig in terms of draw, looks, size etc) the M401 (Pilot or Evolution).
- the main con is the battery being sensitive to loud noise.

Many beginners like the DSE901 though, and many experienced vapours like the bigger devices like the Screwdriver or Janty stick.

I ended up going for the M401 Evolution, and I'm completely happy with it. Might end up getting a 510 or mod with a manual switch down the line for the added vapour. :)

Standard e-cigs, for the most part, have short battery life. This is one reason that the few 'boutique' vaping devices currently available are becoming wildly popular. Names like Screwdriver, GG, Prodigy, Zi Moshi and Janty Stick are designed to use higher capacity batteries for those that want incredible battery life.

Throat hit is another topic that is hotly debated. It is my opinion that nicotine content of e-liquid, vaping on a device with a manual switch and/or vaping on a higher voltage device (5 volts+) creates the best, 'analog-like' throat hit. The abovementioned devices also fill this need also and can belch out gobs of vapor.

To test the opinons I stated above, you could build a simple box mod (i.e. JuicyBox, NicoStick, others) inexpensively if you are DIY-inclined. You can build this type of device to run single 3.7 volt rechargeable batteries up to 7.2 volts (not recommended) using two rechargeable battery cells. Food for thought.

I too started off with SmokeStik. I Believe the model number is RN4081.

I have since purchased a 501, my main reason for the 501 was the PCC (Personal Charger Case) and some of the reviews on here. Not sure if it is tru of all manual batteries.. Getting trigger happy and holding down the button too long with a dry atomizer will result in an awful burnt taste in your mouth. I have noticed that with the automatic battery in the RN4081it prevents the atomizer from ever getting to hot to produce the burnt taste. The only time I ever got a burnt taste from the RN4081 was when the auto switch got stuck on for more that 15 seconds.

Wow, you're about to get a million different answers. Everyone has their favorite, and everyone's favorite is always THE BEST (for them at least). It's really going to come down to what you're looking for in an e-cig.

Now, having said all that... I started with and have given away a generic 901 (small carts, low batt life). I have a Janty Kissbox and a Janty Stick, I also have a Screwdriver. I love the look of the Janty PVs, and I love the cart size. These are my primary vapes for that reason. I can fill up a cart the night before and on a normal work day I still have plenty of juice by the time I get home, and I work anywhere from 8-10 hours per day. I LOVE the throat hit on my SD, and love the flavor generation. I use it primarily at home for when my partner is going for a smoke outside. The SD I have is the mini atomizer fitting with a 901 atty and thusly 901 carts which don't hold very much. The battery life on it is fantastic though. In MY quest for the best PV I've ended up with different PVs for different purposes and in my opinion they're THE BEST for each purpose.

Hope I could help and didn't confuse you further.

With the "Mod" e-cigs, its really about size and shape.Of course the(Zimoshi,GG,GG nano,Screwdriver,The Prodigyv1, and the Janty Stick) have battery life that is superior to the Analog type e-cigs. Yet for the battery life, you lose the traditional shape of a cigarette. Even the Janty Stick is smaller than all the other previously mentioned mods, but its square except for the mouthpiece. So with all the "Mod" e-cigs, you have to ask yourself a question. Will I be comfortable in public with this device? My own thoughts are, that I will keep my 901 for times when the Prodigy might be percieved as a weapon, typically on an airplane or a VIP nightspot.

Right Here, Right Now!
what about the penstyle?? good to have this and also what brand. lol im such a noob

I can't speak about a penstyle yet cause I just ordered mine and it is on the way, but I have a DSE901 and a 2 RN4801's. With my penstyle I also ordered a Vx2. I think the smokestik is comparable to my RN4801's. I wouldn't worry too much about brand, but more about price. My first RN4801 was an NPro and the second one is a "generic" one, but they both are identical except for the Njoy logo. My DSE901 is also "generic" and works great. Just make sure they are sent from the US (China orders can take a long time!!) and find coupons on the forum. Other than that I think a penstyle will be a great PV!
