huh? the one i might get is the dse 801 but noone has mentioned this model
OK, new friend, I will! Welcome to ECF! The 801 is pretty good. It has a large 1.1 ml cartridge that can be purchased with
juice, without juice, and user refilled. The battery does not last anywhere near eight hours.
vaping heavily, maybe one or two hours. 801 users invest in a bunch of batteries.
Penstyles fit in the pocket, but they don't look much cigarettes, which is arguably a
good thing.
I buy my cartridges prefilled and then clean and refill them myself. I get about two hours vaping from a cartridge if I'm sitting and staring at the computer, but I got through some yardwork this weekend and only used two all day yesterday.
You can also drip an 801.
Throat hit with an 801 is mysterious. Some juices hit great. Some don't, and it doesn't just follow the nic concentration. I had some Turkish 24 that really kicked, and I have some cherry 36 that does not. The 801 is capable of a sharp throat hit, but it won't do it with wimpy smoke juice.
As for a purchase, do a Google search for "DSE801" and you'll find lots of places selling them. Batteries should be $10 to $15 and atomizers about $10.50 to $20 ($20 is a little high). A new kit should be $60 or less, and the merchant should include an extra atomizer if they want the brownie points and customer good will. Branded kits, with a merchant standing behind it with a warranty, go for about $100.
