Hi!
I am pretty new to this myself but I have tried the disposable type, a DSE901, Joye 510, and am using the RIVA 1100Mah. By far the Riva is a perfect fit for me. The battery lasts anywhere from 12-24 hours (depending on if I am working at home or in the office)and is worlds better than constantly charging. I would say I am a pretty heavy user. I have also tried attys, cartomizers, and drip tip and honestly like all three depending on which liquid I am using. Tried a friends tank but was not very impressed with the vapor or flavor (personal taste I guess). I wish I had asked before spending on the mini's but the progression has taught me a lot about what I was looking for. Best of luck finding the perfect fit for you!

After looking around a bit i have decided to give the ego a shot. now to find a good website to buy it from with everything i need.

I included a link to the VaporCast store which currently has the best price I've found for the 1000mah USB PT eGo-T battery: $22.50. I actually bought mine from Vixen Vapor while they were having a 30%-off sale, but they sold out.

The guys at VaporCast opened their store to carry the products they've found and the e-liquid creations they've made and done a great job of keeping their prices low. I placed my first order and it hasn't arrived yet, but I have no doubt that I will be happy with their "pro" mixed e-liquids.

I second what "Boodle" recommended. A KGO 1100 starter kit from HoosierDaddy? (Hoosiercigsupply) and some Boge 2.0LRs or some Dual coil cartomizers he has. Once I bought 1 kit from him I had to have more and now have 3 kits. Those KGOs give an awesome hit and the batts last forever. The chrome ones are pretty neat looking too. After a bit you get the chrome echo-e cartomizers for the KGO and now you're really talking some quality vape. Good luck with your decision.

For the eGo kits, your choices are the standard eGo which uses a cartridge, or the eGo-T which uses a tank. If you choose the tank model, your choices are Type A or Type B. The Type A atomizer is cone shaped and holds 1.1ml of juice. The Type B has a cylinder shaped atomizer and the tank holds 2ml of juice.

The batteries come in different sizes as well: 650mAh, 900mAh, and 1000mAh. The 900mAh will give you about 50% more battery life than the 650mAh for about the same price. I'd recommend the 900 or 1000, the 900mAh being the better value.

HealthCabin.net has the largest selection of eGo's
Cignot.com is an great source too with excellent customer service.

I recommend this to "newbies" AND experienced vapers:
Add some juice and maybe a driptip, and for around $50 (still less than the cost of a carton of smokes) you are good to go for a month or longer. The new eGo-T with USB passthru allows you to keep it constantly charging without needing a special charger, and its ready to unplug and go all day with a 1000mAH battery that keeps up with the low resistance/dualcoil cartomizers. You can turn it off/on by hitting the button 5 times, so it is relatively pocket safe, and I personally really like the rubberized coating makes it very comfortable to hold and easy to use.

Welcome Chris! The folks here are very helpful, hope you don't get overwhelmed. One thing I can tell you is that whatever PV you choose you might find that you won't care if your juice tastes like Newport. I know for me after vaping for a month I don't even enjoy most of the tobacco flavors. Try some different samples and you may be plesently surprised.

Thulium, this is the Holy Grail for me. Just exactly what I want and NEED. I had no idea there was such a thing. Oh so shiny and prettyful. Is it payday yet?

Two more questions and thank you for your patience.
1. Can I use a LR 306 atomizer with this PT? Weirdly, cartos make me cough. I only drip.
2. Is this company an ECF supplier? The list is long, maybe I missed them.

Thanks again.

A great bang for the buck @ around $50
Boge Revolution V2

This kit comes with 5 Boge Cartomizers
3.7v 1400mah
The batteries are built in.
A juice feeder is built in.
Can vape it while charging.

Lasts all day! Just grab the unit and go.
Carry around 10ml of liquid AND a spare carto inside the unit itself.

All you need to get started is this kit and some liquid :)
You might wanna pick up a LR 510 atty and a drip tip to try out on it as well.

Here's a review of the unit, note the newest revs (out since this review) have a 1400mah battery, and folks are reporting it'll rock dualies. Just ordered one to try myself :0

1. LR306's work great on eGo batteries! Absolutely, yes. Remember this isn't just a passthru, this is a 1000mAH eGo-T battery with a mini-USB port on the bottom so you can vape while it is constantly recharging and then unplug it and vape for 10 hours "cordless". ...You really should toss in at least 1 dualcoil cartomizer and see if you like it--can't go too far wrong for $2.
2. Sorta. VaporCast is a webcast show that is a long-time ECF supporter. They only recently started running their own store selling items Jack, Scott, & Adam have recommended on their show. For example, "Adam's Apple" is a DIY creation they made of apple cooled with menthol that is a "go-to" vape for a lot of people and they are making available to order. They don't have a large selection because they generally only have products they've given high recommendations to.
