My roommate's clearo started melting today, it's really scary since she was vaping it.

So I thought a lot of that was in the past. Is glass the only choice? Are there glass tanks that don't need cartos? (She vapes vg RY4 and seems like it also clogs and burns cartos)

What about the Phoenix? Is that still a be-careful-which-juice? The clearo she had was supposedly modern-enough to be juice-proof but guess not! So, what is not just juice-resistant but PROOF?

If the plastic is completely clear, then it's made from polycarbonate, in all likelihood, and will still be prone to melting even if it's accompanied by the "bigger, faster, stronger" marketing B.S.

You want to look for plastic that's clouded. That's polypropylene, and much stronger. Phoenix clearos use this type of plastic. I believe Vivi Novas do as well. I replaced the plastic on my Vivi Novas with aluminum tubes, though, just in case.

I like both of these options a lot. I find you get very slightly better flavor from the Phoenix, but the Vivi Nova is better overall, in my opinion. Holds more juice, easier to fill, and no plastics at all if you replace the tubes. Pretty good stuff.
