I have spent countless hours researching exactly which kit to purchase. I started out with the one from the mall "Glo Smoke" and really like it. However, there customer service is lacking and there prices are high.

I have decided to purchase the Joye 510. However, there are even more options than just a Joye 510. I would like to get some recommendations about the 510 vs. 510T vs. 510 ego ect...

Also where is the best place to buy that will ensure I end up with a genuine Joye product.

Another thing is... what is the difference with PG vs. VG vs. 50/50?

Currently the "Glo smoke" I am using is with VG. Seems to be working fine for me. But being new to e cigarettes Im not sure if Im missing out on something better.

Genuine Joye product doesn't always matter. Some knockoffs are better.
The eGo or Riva will give you a lot more battery life than a standard 510 and will allow you to use low resistance atomizers and cartomizers on them. About the only thing going for a standard 510 is it's small. So if small if what you're after then go right ahead. But if what you're after is something that looks like a cigarette I would seriously reconsider that frame of mind.

VG produces more vapor but less throat hit and flavor. Some people can only vape VG because of reactions to PG.
PG produces more flavor and throat hit.
Various vendor will blend the two to get he best of both worlds.

The place I started with was Janty, mainly beacause of their warranty. The only time I had a prolblem with one of their products, they sent me a replacement unit before I had a chance to put the other one in the mail. As far as the juice goes, you really just need to try a couple of places and see if you like their blends. Everyone is a little different with their tastes, but most places tell you if its VG, PG, or a blend.

I also highly recommend Janty, specifically if you want to go the eGo route. But they're a bit on the big side for someone just starting.

However, being new, you're probably going to want something that's as similar to a real cig as possible, still produces massive amounts of vapor, and is an easy 2 piece design (510 3-piece design is ancient, and outdated).

Look to the KR808D-1 models.

Specifically, Bloog Max Fussion is the best on the market. Look at some you tube reviews, check out the bloog sub forum here on ecf, do some more research. Battery life is much less than an eGo, but thats why you get the PCC (personal charging case)... smaller than a pack of cigs, and will charge your battery 4 times before having to be recharged itself.

Just my :2c:

Whichever you get choose Manual batteries. Manual 510 is totally sealed on the threaded end so it is as safe as possible from being damaged or killed by leaked juice. Manuals also will not turn on accidentally from wind or vibration. And they actually make it easier to control your hits and get good hits. Most people here use and recommend manual batteries.

I wouldn't buy the 510T. You can always get one tank atomizer and tanks if you want to try them on a standard 510. They don't hold any more than a cart. More people use cartomizers - a slight extra cost since they have limited life but the BOge 510 standard resistance cartos are so nice on 510. Again MANUAL 510 because if a carto leaks it will leak right over where an auto battery can be damaged.

I do recommend you consider the 1-inch longer mega xl 510 manuals for 70% more battery charge (they are long though - 128mm w/ a carto). Standard 510 is 180mah or about 1-3 hours. Joye mega xl (as well as KR808D-1 standard) are 280mah. If you choose the standard size 510, look at the PCC ay NoSmokeVA.com (which is the only reason I am using standard size 510 - that sweet PCC)

If you are super interested in prefilled cartos, look at Vapor4Life.com which is a KR808D-1. KR8 also gives a slighty warmer hit than 510 but IMO 510 + a Boge carto makes more vapor for me.
