i agree with wrenny, cant go wrong with an ego vv battery and a clearo, im using a nova tank it will last me a day on 4.8 volts, use the supplied 2.8 atty and crank it up, they last much longer than a pen style 510 atty, ive been using my nova for 4 months and replaced 4 attys, at a couple of quid each im saving a bit on my 510s (going through about 1pw) best money ive spent so far, good luck mate

You will be much happier with a quality carto/tank/atty than disposables. Flavor, TH, Vapor, consistency are all improved.

Totally agree, I started with clearomisers then changed to cartomisers, the vape is far superior.

I also have a Vision Ultimate that I use at work, a little tip when changing the atomiser head, do not squeeze the atomiser too hard, I shorted out two batteries doing this!

Hi @liquidator which cartomisers do you use?

Hello, wrenny, I use Boge xl low resistance. If you use these with a tank you will need a hole punch!

Cheers am I right that if you use it without a tank it screws straight into the 510 battery and you fit a drip tip to the cartomiser? I might give them a try as I haven't used them. Happy with the innokin and nova rebuildable clearomisers but it's made it onto the list of things to try.

Any vendor to recommend?

cheers

Yes, that is correct. Try it first without a tank to see if it suits your taste, then maybe get a tank later, the tank saves having to keep topping up with juice.

The vendor I would highly recommend is Vapeescape.

Totally agree with Liquidator, Boge carts are worthy of a try and I soon moved onto a tank as well, you have to be patient filling the cart but you soon get the idea, many videos on you tube with a few differing ways to do it. If you go the tank route a hole punch is required but you can get pre-punched carts as well. I also agree with Liquidator on his choice of vendor Vape Escape is my preferred site.

My suggestion for a first step used to be the Ego C Twist 1000mah with a Kanger T3.

I'm a veteran vaper and have tried many different solutions.
My new favorite recommendation for a New Vaper is the Innokin Itaste MVP,Built in 2600mah battery that lasts over two days!
If you don't mind a box mod.

Ths unit is super easy. Basically you plug into any Micro USB Charger to charge.
It has 3 buttons.
1st button is the Fire Button
2nd and 3rd adjust the voltage.

No Chargers, Additional Batteries or other complications. Just find your sweet spot and vape.

The new version has Ego Threading- Look for one that has Ego Threading.

The reviews all give it a thumbs up
A PBusardo Review - Innokin iTaste MVP - YouTube

iTaste MVP Review - YouTube

Two clarifications
1:Busardo evalutates a older model. The feature to use EGO Threads has been added
2. Field of Vapor at 7minutes and 25 seconds has a fix for one of Busardos complaints
3. Field of vapor complains that it outputs voltage that is .12 volts low. So what, since it consistently does this there is no variation. You can easily compensate for it. It just isn't a strong enough reason to pan the unit. The unit provides rock solid vape.

I have received my Vision 1000 Ultimate and am very happy with it so far.
I did have a small mishap with it. At work somebody asked me how it was filled, so I started to unscrew the clearomiser. Well, that's what I thought I was doing and ended up removing the head and losing a small amount of liquid - lesson learned there!

My one confusion though is changing the volt. The instructions say if it is a white/blue light I am on standard and if orange I am on higher. I have tried changing and only every get a white light. The only difference is whether the light flashes blue or white when powering off. The only difference I have noticed is it appears easier to draw when I am on the higher voltage.

One of the sample bottles I bought was Cotton Candy - can't say I am impressed with it. I was expecting something sweet, but it tastes more like biscuit infused tobacco. Still, I am looking forward to some of the other flavours.

I once bought a Lava Tube type and the first day I unscrewed the Vivi Nova well the cartridge unscrewed and the liquid went all over the unit. Immediately it started to behave funny and than all of a sudden I saw smoke actual smoke through the Led window. Seems that the liquid leaked through the little + - Buttons.

I quickly popped it open and removed the battery. I think I broke a new record, destroying a unit within 40 minutes of receiving it. The vendor was very helpful and took it back.

Since then I've been wary of units with the + - buttons at the top.
