What to call ourselves?

I have found that vaper is decent. It runs along the same line of thought as the term 'smoker'. So, it is kind of intuitive. Yet, it also clearly differentiates us from smokers. The term vapor is fine by me.

By the way, I have found that it is easier to get people to try the e-cig by describing it as a analog but not. The term vapor helps along that frame of thought.

Need a ECF poll going for this. I think eVapers would be great, otherwise they might think you are vaping something illegal or something like huffing. ?x?x?

Where I live PV's are unheard of. Besides a few friends I've introduced to vaping I've never seen another person with one. I vape mine out on the street and in the car etc and yesterday I was chatting with a friend of mine and apparently there's now a rumor going about that I must have balls the size of coconuts because I'm smoking drugs anywhere out in plain sight, even in front of the police station rofl.

People who smoke are smokers. People who vape cant be called vapors, so is it Vaporers?

Just random thinking, my GF said in regards to the upcomming Hall-O-Vape in OH brought to us by VaporBomb "So is your friend going with you to that Smokers thing?" I wanted to reply with, "No, its a Vaporers thing" but it didnt look right...

Ideas?

Why can't they be called vapers? Well, first of all you spelled vapers wrong. VAPORS would be the plural for "vapor". VapERS explains the people that participate in vaping. There you go, I solved your conflict.

Ps: people who call vapers VAPORS is one of my biggest pet peeves related to vaping. Specially the word vaporers. *nails on chalkboard* AHHH.

I tell everyone I'm a crack head and my mod is my crack pipe. Then I vape it blow the vapor toward them and walk away. Then my buddy defends me and says that I am trying to get off it and he walks away.

I never call any of my implements e-cigs so I certainly wouldn't want to be called an e-smoker. I always refer to them as PV's and most people think they are for asthma. I've only had 2 people ask me what kind of smoker my ST was. I refer to myself as a vaper if anyone asks, but usually no one pays any attention to my vape or mods which suits me fine.
