So, just to get my feet wet, I tried rebuilding the wick for a kangar protank. I know its not a rebuildable, but wanted to try it out. I followed this video and used "ecowool" and 32 gauge kanthal that I was able to get from a local (overpriced) b&m.

Kanger Protank Bottom Coil Rebuild HD Close Up - YouTube

It worked on my first shot. Came out ~2.8 ohms with 6 wraps. I had to squish it some and was real surprised it didnt short since it had to be stuffed in the cup. I goes up and down between 3ohms and 2.6 ohms, which is wierd.

Anyway, the problem is I don't really taste my juice. It vapes, but not as strong as a factory 2.4 ohm wick.

I guess I should aim for lower ohms next time? 4-5 wraps? any other suggestions?
