What to do in Orlando???

DH and I will be in Orlando for a week...just seeing the sights...and I know that means Disney World and Universal Studios.

So...what are good things for adults to do at those two places?? Any good places for dinner after killing ourselves at the parks? Anything besides those two places that are "can't miss?"

DH doesn't do "twirly" things and I don't like roller coasters but do it anyway because he loves them

I guess what I am asking...who's done what there and loved it??

I would recommend Epcot Center over the other Disney parks - at least for adults. It's great!

Disney world is like my favorite. I went there all the time as a kid. Epcot is great. You'd love it! its like visiting the world in a walk around a lake. I had lunch in Japan and dinner in France. Oh and all the shows they have and other things to do besides rides. There's downtown disney you guys could party down.

There's soooo much to do in Orlando. Im sure you'll find something. if anything, I really like Sea World too.

If ya wanna know where all the Biker Bars are, I could prolly help ya my hubby lived there fer years. Just don't go in them wearin your scuba gear You might get funny looks yup

Christini's: Fine Dining Italian - Veal Chop is insane
Four Rivers Barbeque - Winterpark - line out the door every night
All of International Drive for shops, tourist stuff
Downtown Disney - Cirque De Soleil the one they have there is awesome
Disney's Boardwalk - Flying Fish

Personally my favorite park there is Animal Kingdom and Islands of Adventure

There is a little bar outside Margaritaville on Citywalk that is fun to drink at and chill out.

Trying to think of more. I live here but for the life of me with an 8 year old and a 5 year old can not think of what me and my wife do here on a normal basis.

I like Downtown disney for dinner and strolling.

I remember a place called Mercado that was a fun lunch/window shop kinda place.

Go to the airport and catch a flight to Melbourne . . . oh wait, that's what I would do . . . sorry!

Discovery Cove and Sea World are great too!!! Lots of outlet shopping!!!

wow have a great time ! If i had to judge someones list above i would say emiril's is a good bet ,his las vegas restaurant in the mgm was a-1 first rate and not so expensive that you would choke !

Another vote for Epcot! You have to go on Soaring!!! Then Test Track!! Just walk around and check everything out. Its my favorite park in Orlando. Get there early to get a fast pass for Soaring. Lines can get really long fast! What I do is get a Fast Pass then ride it. After you get a Fast Pass you do what ever you like. You dont have to be back at the time listed on fast pass ticket. You go anytime after that time. The Fast Pass machines are like ATM's. You stick your park ticket in the slot then it gives you a another ticket with a time on it. Like 1pm-2pm. Another favorite thing to do is drink around the World! Stop in Canada have drink then move on to another country. Dont miss the light show at night! Its amazing!!!

What to do in Orlando? Get trampled by other people trying to do the same things you're trying to do.

I was there last year, what a nightmare. I knew Orlando before the park was built, quite a nice town back then.

Old Town on Saturday night has a classic / Rod car show-parade... Very cool IMO. Ice show and The Dreamworks Experience at Gaylord Palms.... Legoland...
