What to do with disappointing flavours?

So I've gotten a couple of flavours that have turned out to be pretty disappointing, one of them being a 100ml bottle of bubblegum that tastes like gum after it's been chewed for an hour, the other one was supposed to be gummy bears and starburst, the liquid smells delicious, but when vaped it tastes and smells like a grandmothers perfume.

I've tried mixing some other flavours with the bubblegum one, but none of them seem to make a good combination.

I would hate to have wasted money on these.

I generally stick with premium blends (the brands that only make a small amount of flavors, they don't come in high nicotine concentrations, and generally are in glass bottles). Due to this, I don't get juice that is not vapeable. But if it is something that is not quite as awesome as other bottles I already have open, then I just vape the other bottles first and come back to it when I am in-between. I vape a lot of juice and am constantly trying new flavors, so nothing ends up sitting for very long.

Mix it or gift it. Some people will force themselves to finish the bottle, but seriously, life is too short to be vaping on liquid you dislike to save 20 bucks or so.

I had a collection of MBV stuff I spent good money on, but the flavors weren't that appealing to me. Some not bad, but just not for my tastes. Sold them at a significant discount on the marketplace, but was just glad to get rid of them as I wouldn't have vaped them anyways.

If it's just a couple of bottles just mix it, or give it to someone else to try out.

I think everyone has tried the Mad Doctor route of mixing 2 bad juices to see if they can get a winner. There's not a lot that you can do with the juice you have other than letting it sit and see if it gets better or gifting them. In the future, it's always a good idea to spend a little time in a good vape shop that will let you try the juices. An hour sampling could save you hundreds in bad purchases. If you do this, buy something even if it's small like cotton, a bottle, or kanthal. It's just good manners. :)

Unfortunately i'm in Australia and stores here aren't allowed to sell juices with nicotine in them because of some sort of law we have.

The only vape shops I've been to have sold premium liquids ($20+ for 30ml), or MBV quality house liquids. Can't really compare unless you get the exact same stuff.

It was a bit intimidating as well, cuz I was a new vaper and there were a bunch of cloud chasers sitting at the bar.

Plus the rent in my area is so high that everything is ridiculously overpriced. I feel bad show-rooming a vape shop knowing I have no intention of buying anything. A little margin is okay in my book (maybe 10-20% higher), but when their prices are 50-100% higher than online, I just can't stomach paying that much more to support a local business.

The last resort before chunking a juice in the trash is to let it steep with the cap open in a place where it's out of the sun and not at risk of being knocked over. Shake it up once a day. If it isn't good by two weeks, cap it and trash it.

I've never really had success mixing juices that I hated, but some that were virtually tasteless I've used to tone down juices that were too strong for my taste. If it's too strong, you can also mix it with plain old PG and/or VG at the nic level you vape to tone it down a bit. I've also used some Lorann's flavorings to spice up weak flavors. Some add 10% distilled or boiled water to weaken strong flavors. Sure, you lose a little nic strength, but you get something you can vape.

My local vape shop has a juice bar with over 100 juices. I haven't found one that I really like, but I've bought a few when I was waiting for a shipment. I usually buy my mods there, since they are good about honoring warranties and the price is only a little more than I'd pay for shipping. That paid off recently with the iStick 50W. My first one experienced OLED display death and they replaced it. The new one died in two weeks, so they offered to let me trade. I switched over to the Innokin Cool Fire IV and they offered to refund the $15 difference in price. I told them to keep it and call it a restocking fee as a good will gesture.

I'll pay a few bucks more for the service of over the counter swaps on a mod, buy a bottle of juice, some Japanese cotton, and various accessories here and there just to aid the cause and keep up the good will. Occasionally, I'll buy a tank or some other accessory for a few bucks more than I could get it online.

How you liking the Cool Fire IV? I'm interested in getting one.

On ebay I can get 120 sheets of Japanese Cotton for $14 shipped. Vape Wild is selling 4 sheets for 99 cents. What is your vape shop charging?

A few bucks more is cool, like I said, but I just replied to someone's post a couple of posts back. The store wanted $56.80 for an iStick 30, that's almost double how much it is online.

I've only been to two vape shops in my area. One of them sells madvapes juices for $15 for 30ml (twice the price of online). The other didn't make their own juice, but 30ml started at around $22 I think. I buy 120ml for $19.99 or 240ml for $35.99 online, even cheaper with coupons.

I give all my disliked juices to my gf! She seems to be the least picky vaper ever and enjoys pretty much all the ones I like or dislike. I've found I really don't like the chocolate mixes and those are the only ones she doesn't like either, so I've got a pair of juices sitting around that are going to get tossed eventually. Think I've given her at least 20 different flavors...

I'm really happy with the Cool Fire IV. It has good ergonomics. The case fits my hand well. It feels solid and well made. I can get 12 hours easily at 10W out of a charge and the battery indicator is still showing about 40% charge left. I haven't run it down just to see. I just put it on charge about 8 or 9pm and let it charge 2 or three hours and unplug it when I go to bed. In the morning when I plug it in the green LED flashes 3 times and then goes off, indicating it has a full charge. The resistance indicator matches what my 510 thread box style ohm meter reads (it has two digits to the right of the decimal). Overall, I'd buy it again. If it was available when I bought the iStick 50W I wouldn't have had to go through two warranty replacements on the iStick.

I'm cheap. I vaped the nasty juice I didn't like just so I didn't have to spend more on juice.

Then I went DIY.

No more nasty juice. :D

I've vaped some juices one tank a month just because they were kind of interesting at first, then began to get tiring quickly. Later, I'll repeat the process. Sometimes, I toss them after two tanks. Usually, it's just way too strongly flavored for my tastes. I like subtlety.

I have some juices that I will vape on occasion. One is Snickdoodle and the other is a Minthol that tastes like a Cryst-o-Mint Lifesaver. SnickerDoodle is highly flavored and I can take only a tankful every few months. The Cryst-0-Mint is good here and there when I have a scratchy throat. A bottle of each will last me a couple of years and I generally use a carto to keep from contaminating a tank.
