Another thread brought to mind something I have been trying to figure out but felt it was off topic and needed its own thread anyway...

I have 7 packs of cigs and they sit in my desk next to my spare parts, juice ect.. 1 pack is opened with one cig gone, it was the last cig I smoked on the 26th of April, I am sure they are stale but the other 6 packs are there too and I am not sure what to do with them....??? The last time I quit I tried to do it cold turkey and I gave all my cigs and lighters away Just to turn around a day later and buy more so nobody got hurt... sheww that was rough. Not sure who it was rougher on, me or my loved ones. anywho.... This time I am holding them and I don't know why, I know I am done with them this time, but why give them to someone who going to smoke them, god am I turning anti smoker or what...?, I really don't want to hurt someone at my own hand or contribute, am I wrong to feel this way?, is that mean? What would you do with them?

I haven't gotten my kit yet (should come tomorrow) but I went ahead and gave all the unopened packs I had to someone who smokes already. They were too expensive to throw away so I gave them to a good home. Ifeel that it's a person's choice to smoke and I didn't feel like I was harming them by giving them my old packs. They are going to smoke, whether it's something I gave them or something they buy.

Take out all the tobacco and boil it down in a big ol' pot of water.

Set it aside to cool.

Then, drain off the liquid and use it as bug spray/killer for you plants.

It is a "natural" insecticide (I know, and we use to smoke it).

If you boil it down enough, couldn't you vape it? Recover some of the costs?
(just kidding!)

Give them to a smoker -- a homeless person, a friend, whatever. You aren't encouraging them to smoke you are simply acknowledging the fact that they do and, since you have some cigarettes you don't need, saving them some money.

I keep an unopened pack at my house just for security.
The advantage of big city life. Within 3 blocks of my apt. I have a 24-hour Rite Aid and 3 bodegas. If I had them, I'd probably smoke them. There have been a couple of times when I've wanted one. The feeling passed in less than 5 minutes but, if they had been right here I might have caved.

I still have six cartons in the freezer from last Sept. They will stay there until I'm ready to do something with them and it won't be smoking them either.

I'm trying to figure out a way to make a nice table lamp with them, but nothing is coming to mind otherwise...

Congrats on your improved health. Tell me your not feeling better physically and emotionally!!!

Me too!!! Should "something happen" such as a week long power failure, I'd hate to try to explain this as a murder defense in a criminal case, as after awhile without the nic, I'd be a terrible tyrant!

OMG!! I admire your willpower! I can't have a cigarette near me.. the temptation is too great. I haven't had one in over a year but I'm afraid I would light up in a heartbeat if one was around.
