What to expect from steeping

Hi everyone. I'm only 2 and a half weeks into vaping, so obviously none of my juices have had a whole lot of steeping time, but I was just looking for a general guide to the steeping process. Mostly I'm interested in what TYPES of flavors come out more after steeping. For instance, I've noticed that the fruit flavors I have haven't changed much at all and were tasty right out of the mailbox, while FSUSA's espresso didn't taste like coffee at all until it sat for a week. BWB's 555 tasted like tobacco right away, but after a week, some vanilla (maybe?) flavor started creeping in. So are there any sort of general rules about this? Obviously, the foolproof way would just be to let everything sit for a week before I try it, but I'm impatient. Are certain flavors more dominant than others? Do certain flavors just take longer to settle in? I'm not looking for something like "Vendor X's flavor Y tastes great after steeping!" I just want to know if there's a general consensus on what to expect from different types of flavors, regardless of who made them. Thoughts?

Unrelated side-note: I started a thread last week where I mentioned that I didn't want to end up with a crazy juice cellar. I currently have 23 bottles of juice in all different flavors and 3 more on the way. So you know...that's going well... :D

I am also not sure how this steeping works. But others said that the flavour is much better after steeping.
usually it's fresh liquids that are better with steeping, if the vendor just imports and ships to you it probably won't do any good. but general rule drip to test the flavor. if it doesn't taste good take the cap and dripper off let it sit for a week or so and taste again, repeat till a month at most if it still doesn't taste good sell it. or if it's one of thoughs flavors you'll never be able to get it out of your head because it's so bad sell after the first week of steeping if you want to wait that long... taste is subjective so someone else will probably love it

Unique flavors that are a combination of flavorings are more likely juices to benefit from steeping. Also some creamy flavors because some of those cream flavorings smell flowery to me. Single flavoring juices like the average Peach, Vanilla, Caramel etc as well as stock tobaccos flavorings are less likely to benefit from steeping.

I almost never steep. Then some people are the opposite and steep everything. I can't be bothered. If a juice tastes fine out of the bottle then that is how I vape it. If over time it gets better then great. The only things I steep (totally open w/ dropper out for overnight, then closed up) are juices with a perfumey or baby powder type of smell which is often caused by overflavoring or mixing flavorings or I think by some cream flavors. More likely I decide it is overflavored and sucks the way it is and I mix it with a good vanilla.
