The 901 is a good option, Its a bit longer than a normal cig and the filter end on the new style 901's are kinda whistle shaped but its the one most people rate as being one of the best, also with readily available parts. The M401 is also fairly well accepted, its much more cigarette like but it sacrifices cartrige size for looks, so you will find that you change cartriges more often.

Ditto what Edd said. The 901 is often recommended for beginning esmokers, primarily because it's been around for awhile and most of the kinks have been worked out. 
Penstyles are often recommended for heavy smokers because the cartridges hold more eLiquid and the battery life is nice. On the other hand, many new e-smokers are less comfortable with the larger size of a penstyle, at least at first.

The best supplier I've found in the UK so far for the 901 is Electric Cigarette & E Liquid - Totally Wicked Electronic Cigarette Fluid they also do tasty juce for refililng at home if thats what your into. If you think you are then the 901 is the easiest one to refill.
If you'd rather have somethign a bit more cigarette like then the M401 is you best AKA the Evo... you can get that from Electronic Cigarettes, Electric Cigarette, E Liquid, Alternative Smoking
I would make sure that whatever kit you get you have at least one spare battery and atomiser. From intellicig I bought the trial kit and the basic kit, in effect it gives you two full e.cigarettes. I would get the same if you decide to go for the 901.
Customer service is really really good with either of the two websites and shipping was next day with intelilcig and 2 days with totally wicked.
