What type of tobacco flavor is in RY4?

I have seen many different mixes for this, some say use Seedman's. Some don't list any type of tobacco flavor at all.

What type of tobacco flavoring is it generally made with?

Don't know for sure, but I would try using FA Perique Black to get that smokey hint.

When I took a stab at making it (I came close, but it came out sweeter) I used Virginia Flue-Cured tobacco as a base, I'd say about 65% of my flavor base. good luck on your quest!

LO Black walnut is very concentrated and taste just like much weaker PA RY4.
Much cheaper to buy the LO Black Walnut.

Well... hifistud (The RY4 master) has stated that the Tobacco Absolute is nasty in RY4, but would not hint at what type of tobacco was in it until a later show. So it could be DK, Oriental, Lakota(?)... But not Virginia or Flu
