What was the very first flavor you ever vaped and if you liked it, is it still a favorite?

My first flavor was Greensmoke's Absolute which got me off my 2 1/2 pack a day habit instantly. I moved on from pre-filled cartos right away but I found a dead ringer for the Absolute in Upstomp's White Spur at LJ's E-Smokes. It's not in my regular rotation but I still very much enjoy it from time to time.

When I bought my first kit, as a Pall Mall Blue smoker I selected Dekang PalMal. That made perfect newbie sense.

I stayed with it for nearly nine months (along with a couple other DK flavors) until I got some liquids from The Vapor Room. Suddenly all the DK liquids tasted like chemically infused crap. I'll still pick the DK PalMal but only once in a blue moon.

My first flavor was from Premium (an overpriced vendor that sells 808/vGo starter kits and prefills for way more than anyone in their right mind should pay), a clove flavor, that I immediately fell in love with. Then I found out on my next order that the cartos I got were the last of their 'old' batch before they changed the flavoring, permanently, and it quickly became far too sweet for my tastes. I immediately got into DIY, and then found MBV..now I'm mixing my own, but I'm hooked on MyFreedomSmokes Djarum Black that I ordered on a lark. Just wish it wasn't so expensive compared to DIY.

Well my first vape was the greensmoke tobacco, so no...I do not vape that now.

I did like their mocha though and since I vaped v4L mocha on the Triton cog-a-like, I'd say I still employ that flavor. I have it as part of a coffee mix from five or six vendors which has sort of taken a life of its own. I vape it several times a week, very tasty.

I started out of course with menthol in my starter kit. I liked it and still love menthol. I moved on to vanilla and loved it at first but now I've tried it and thinks its yuk. I actually think you taste buds change after you finally quit smoking. I think that is what I like the most about vaping..... all the flavors. I've yet to try a tobacco though. Isn't that strange?

Not so much as you'd think (at least for me) my logic behind it was I smoked Marlboro's for so long that I liked the taste. This was something which helped to mimic that at least in part for the initial transition. I tried it again after quitting analogs all together and yes my taste buds had changed as I no longer really cared for it.

Reading a whole bunch of juice reviews, I bumped into one for a Turkish Tobacco from MyFreedomSmokes, where I was already ordering my first kit, that said it tasted like the brand of cigs I'd been smoking - so I ordered that.
I liked it enough to prefer the flavor of vaping to smoking - that's why I quit - I hadn't really planned to.
And more surprisingly, I STILL like that juice, and keep some in stock.

When I purchased my starter kit it came with a 5ml bottle of some tobacco flavor and another 10ml bottle of my choice. Had it only had the tobacco flavor I would have considered the experience a total loss and lit up an analog immediately. My choice bottle was Rootbeer flavor. It's the one that did the trick. Smoked 5 analogs the first day, one the next morning and none since. I have since reordered a 30ml bottle of Root Beer from Aqua Vapor. I have about 10 flavors now and none of them are tobacco.

First flavor I vaped was called "Red & White", tasted just like siphoning a gas tank. So most of it was flushed down the toilet. Next day I got some RY4, and I still think that RY4 is probably the best "first flavor" ever invented.

After a couple of months I got tired of the sweetness of RY4 (Caramel tobacco), and switched to 555 (Hazelnut tobacco), which is still one of my favorites two years later.
