That's right. Strategy should be such that the masses are FOR e-cig and thus the powers that be are pre-checkmated. Get these devices shown on TV shows, movies, music videos (the Hollywood crowd using them and loving them). Done deal. A 'simple' public needs 'simple' tactics/marketing. Hopefully you would quickly get to the point where the public demands e-cigs. Nice thought though......;)

i agree i have been thinking that we should not only be calling senators and what not to try to get the word out but call tv stations to get the product on the "health spot" segment that im sure almost all newscasts have a variation of... or more stories like the one i heard about e-cigs on NPR radio which was not the first time i ever heard of them, but 'IS' what got me to purchase one... so here i am 3 months after hearing about e-cigs on the radio now involved in a fight to keep them alive! and there could be so many more if it was on NATIONAL news and not some obscure local NPR radio broadcast...

......just to highlight the position that the FDA 'seems' to be taking on these e-cigs would be fodder for certain news organizations....

"FDA FIGHTS TO OUTLAW PRODUCT THAT COULD BE SAVING LIVES"

something alot of people around here seem to forget is that for every scientific piece of information we lack to back up our claims... the FDA lacks the same information on their side of things... so i think there is more of a fight to come... seems like on this forum there is a lot of panicking and that really shouldn't be the case... i think we, as consumers of this product will be able to obtain our supplies from china long after any possible bans the fda puts on these... and that is another thing to consider... im sure it has been talked about here on the forum before..... but is it possible that the government may want to just TAX the poop out of these things?? idk i just LOVE the idea of getting e-cigs out thru the media!
