Done..........
I have smoked for 35 years. That's 255,500 cigarettes. Nothing helped me quit. Now I have found something that works even tho it wasn't advertised as such. I have not smoked in 9 weeks. Not alot but I will not ever smoke a tobacco cigarette again.
I understand that Big Tobacco, the Government, the Pharmaceutical makers, and so on will lose an astounding amount of money if a large percent of smokers quit smoking tobacco. In my lifetime, all the cessation aids that have been offered to smokers have only helped less than 5% of smokers stop smoking. The 3 groups mentioned above constantly remind smokers that smoking tobacco is harmful, causes cancer, and causes 400,000 tobacco related deaths a year.
When a device gets invented by someone, and it truly works for more and more people, why does the FDA want to remove this device when they should be embracing it for potentially saving so many lives? Why does it feel like I and many others can't count on the Government to help us ex-smokers remain tobacco free?
Do Tobacco companies, the Government, and Pharma really want people to be tobacco free, or are they just pretending?
I spread the word at every opportunity. I pass out vendor cards I get with my orders. I must have spoke to hundreds of curious people in the last 8 weeks. Some non smokers have even tried a puff or two (I carry alcohol swabs). I'm having alot of fun doing it.
