In the short term, most folks will continue vaping, particularly those of us who are trying to prolong our lives by avoiding tobacco. It is for this uncertainty that I choose not to share the vaping world with others that are curious. Why bait a person really willing to reduce the harm they are doing to themselves using tobacco, only to find out that their new habit makes them a criminal.

You have to make a decision how you wish to proceed after we all know what the future of e-cigs are in the U.S. If the future looks bleak, I may make some panic buys directly with China.

I'm a couple of days into e-cigs and I like it. But...I worry about what will happen if the stupid FDA bans them ?
I have to invest a lot of money and get used to this and then not be able to get them any more !!

There is no proof that they will be banned. Some people are letting these rumors run their lives. Yes, the FDA is fighting against e-cigs, but have you ever seen a ban or law passed overnight? It takes years and years.

They *wont* be banned. Nicotine juice may eventually be controlled, but they can't really ban it without banning tobacco. That won't happen.

A LOT of people have already made panic buys and have enormous amounts of supplies stashed away. I personally think some of these people might be thinking they could make a buck selling it here if in fact the ban hits. I have enough to keep me happy for a while. If the ban hits then I'll decide if I want to just quit vaping or head underground where I'm sure we'll still be able to get our stuff.

I have an easy way to look at it.

1) Make a list of all banned and illegal items in the USA.
2) Make another list if the items on list #1 that are impossible to get.

I'll bet list #2 will be a short one.

If you sit and think about if for a second, I'm almost 100% certain that the ecigs themselves would never be banned.

Weed is illegal, yet I still see pot smoking paraphenalia being sold legally by many stores.

...... is illegal, yet I can still go buy needles at wal-mart.

In every illegal substance that I am aware of, they ban the substance, not the method of application. This makes me assume that the FDAs move would be to ban Ejuice, not Ecigs.

This is good, because there's no way I could make an Ecig in my garage, but brewing up some Ejuice doesn't sound too challenging at all.
