What wire should I buy?

I know pretty much nothing about electronics, just a little experience soldering.

My contact pad came unsoldered from the wire, a dude at a local B&M soldered it back on for me about a week ago, but he said the wiring used in my epipe was thin and cheap.

I'm going to rewire it, anyone know what kind of wire I need to buy?

The wire I'm taking about is the red wire that runs from the battery to the contact pad.

Kinda hard to see, but the image is mostly irrelevant I would assume.

I'm not sure what you mean by "What wire". It looks like a pipe mod to me, if so you're probably not doing sub ohm builds. I would say 18 gauge stranded wire. If you can find some wire with silicone insulation, that would be the best since it won't melt as easily when soldering. Some hobby shops that deal in RC planes and cars sell it. Otherwise, wire from an old PC works.

Use 'speaker wire'' ; you can get a roll of it from electronics supplies places; it's what you use for your speakers in the house or the car stereo.

I would take a piece of it to Radio Shack and find a small roll about twice the thickness.

gah; when I opened up my vamo, the size of the wire inside there, was like a thread; even using twice the diameter would have been silly for me to do; it's not like wire is expensive; the speaker wire I put in must be at least 4 times diameter what was in there.

I swear, the wire size looks bigger in this picture than what was there in reality
