As you long as you don't vape and smoke at the same time. I saw a guy a couple of days ago with a vape in one hand and a smoke in the other and he was working both. I behaved myself and didn't say a word.
I have a friend who has heart issues plus she drinks a lot as well and her doc suggested she take up vaping as a first step to try to get her health in order. I got her a topbox nano and showed her everything. One day I showed up at her work to meet for lunch. I was early and caught her outside - she had the nano in one hand and a cig in the other. Unbelievable! She is still dual-using but has improved a bit.

Yeah I have 3 friends plus my son i'm working on for months now. They still duel, and none of them look like they'll be giving up smoking...
The fact is, it's not easy to just stop smoking and substitute it with vaping. Vaping is a whole new game. You'll have to have your full mind on your side to start off with. Then you'll have to have the right device, and juice to keep you satisfied. It took me all but a year (and a bag full of money) to get to that point...

I called the local vape shop. They have a couple different lines of nic salt juice. Though I have a crap load of rtas, box mods, 3 nautilus minis and low power mods, I think im gonna try a Breeze 2 and some nic salt juice. Ill still carry my rta and box mod, but finhers crossed the nic salt juice Breeze 2 combo helps. Thanks all!

I didn't quit smoking until last summer. It took me resolving to stop buying cigarettes, use higher nic (12 mg) direct lung and just deal with the cigarette cravings. They do pass...

You stop buying (and bumming) cigarettes and you can't help but not smoke.

Been awhile since I was on here. Life happened so to speak. AND I couldnt stop cigs. Yesterday, I broke out my Primo Mini and OBS Nano. .34 coil and vaping Caramel Waffle Cappuccino 6mg. To be honest, though I liked some other flavors, this juice was the only constant. Everything else just gets pitched eventually. I guess im just picky.

Anyhow, I can chain vape this all day long and still smoke. I was thinking about getting some nic packets and increasing the nic in the CWC. At least then maybe I wont chain vape in that setup, and can increase the nic even further for my mtl setup, target mini/nautilus mini.

Thoughts?
I never really answered - the general consensus is to increase the nic to get to a level where you feel OK and only have to vape. I like caramel waffle cappuccino. I believe 6mg is the highest they have. I had never heard of those packets till now. Interesting.

Here's an idea that is easy and won't break the break. I think it is a good way to find out what level you need right now. Buy a small 30ml or 60 ml bottle of 24mg nic in VG - something like this Nicotine Mix – Nicotine 2 U - Delosi has smaller 24mg/ml Flavorless NicBase Nicotine Liquid and spend a few days (maybe 2 or 3) mixing the unflavored base plus your juice in measured amounts so you can see what works

For the first day - If you mix 50/50 with 50% of your juice and 50% of the already diluted base the nic level would be 15 - 2 and 1/2 times what you are now at. See if that satisfies you. If that works - great - you need to start at 15 for a while.

If it is better but does not work totally we can help you mix it up to say 18 and go from there. Worst case scenario is to try the diluted unflavored mix at 24mg -- do not think you will need higher than that but you never know - that is why you go through a few days of testing. Likewise, if you feel it is too high (which I doubt based on your post) then we can help you mix down.

Do understand that the flavor/taste will be less because you are diluting but the point is to find out what level of nic your body needs right now and at least you will not have to deal with flavor issues as well while you are figuring it all out.

Once you get your "good" level then you can shop around for a juice at that level --- I have a hard time finding juices too but you will find one once you get to your targeted level.

Also, since you really like the CWC - the folks that sell CWC offer a flavor shot - so you could order the 6mg with a flavor shot --this way when you dilute it ---you will still retain some flavor.

If you cannot be satisfied at 24mg or lower then it may be worth it to move to the nicotine salts. I have not tried them. I was able to kick and eventually decrease my levels without the salts.

If you do try it - let us know what level works for you since it may help others.

OK, count me in as another one who didn't know these existed. Seems like they're worth trying, but... They're also a rather expensive way of adding nic to your juice.

But, If you don't DIY and need to boost your pre-mixed to be able to use it up it's a great idea.

Well, just got back from the vape shop. I bought a 2ml 20% nic packet that will take my 6mg CWC to 9mg. That way I can still DL. And I bought a Breeze 2 for MTL, and a bottle of Naked juice nic salt 35mg. They had it in 50mg, but the gentleman said its best to start at 35mg and see how it works. Breeze 2 on charge now. Wish me luck!

I tend to agree. No harm in increasing your nic for MTL. Six is pretty stout for DL cloudiness, however.

Six is "stout"? I can ride around work in a cart for hours chain vaping, it looks like cheech and chong when I get out! And light a cig right away. I know im an addict, but 6 doesnt do squat. Guess thats why I went back to cigs.

LOVE the Breeze 2! Man this things hits awesome for mtl! 'Bout hacked up a lung the first hit  . I think im on the right track with the nic salts, but first impression of the Naked 100 flavor I bought isnt great. Might run to next town over before store closes and see if I can pick up something I like a little better. Im picky.

I subohm 20mg’s nicotine juice so that I can take a puff here and a Puff there and don’t have to chain vape. You should just up the nicotine in your juice until you no longer want a smoke. There is nic salt juices that come in 24 and 48 mg’s that say are for those weak pods. If you put 48mg in a subohm tank I’d think you could get all the nic you want from that setup and couldn’t stand a smoke. That’s my thoughts anyway. Good luck and I wish you future success.

People are different. Some don't react to nic that way; they can consume enough nic to make them borderline nic-sick and still crave a smoke, most likely because there are other substances in cigs besides just nicotine the lack of which causes cravings.

That said, I think it's important for someone trying to switch to get enough nic. How much that is will also vary from person to person.

I would up the nic in the Nano to 12mg personally. Buy a small bottle of 100mg nic and a 1ml syringe. I wouldn’t fool with a base, no reason to dilute your flavor that much. Between that and the Breeze I think you'd be set. At 12mg you can still chain vape to reduce the stress.

This Naked nic salt I got, I never looked at the bottle. Its 50vg/50pg. I cant handle that much pg. So its not the flavor that bothers me, its the pg.

Im not good with calculations as far as cutting. Its a 30ml bottle. How much vg can I use to convert this to say 80/20? Is it as simple as adding 30%? Can someone help or should I ask in the eliquid section? Id rather use it than throw it away if at all possible. Thanks!

You currently have 15 ml of PG and 15 ml of PG in that 30 ml bottle. In order for 15ml PG to be 20% of the total volume, you would have to bring the total volume up to 75ml, meaning you'd have to add 45 ml of VG to that juice.

Obviously this would significantly reduce the nic level.

I am one of those of people. I think I smoked just to smoke because it was such a lifestyle and habit and I am the same way with vaping. I have improved quite a bit- I am down to 3 nic - and do not feel I need it all the time but I do vape quite a bit. For me, vaping serves as a great replacement to analogs and I like it. Been vaping for 7 years. I started sub-ohming about 2 or 3 years ago I think. I was at close to 50 with my old setups. When I started sub-ohming (is that a word :)) I started at 18 which I was told was a no-no but I did not feel sick or anything and gradually decreased down to my current 3-ish and vape about the same amount each day.

I know that most say to up the nic but for me I still want to vape. The only time I really felt it was when I did try to go down a bit further from my current 2-3, I recently mixed some at 1 to 2mg. I tried to fool myself by not labeling the bottle and I knew right away because I was not satisfied.
