Hello everyone,

I'm a real newby, I haven't even purchase an e cig yet. And from what I've been reading I might have waited to long. But any way if I can get them which PV would you recommend. I smoke Marlboro, pack a day, recently, due to cost, have gone to Pall Mall.

Like I've read in most of your post I too have tried the Patches, gum, wellburtrin (sp), and the classes. I've quit for 6 months at one time, like to have went stir raving mad!

Let me know which you think is the best, I'm ready to try them.

Thanks,
Delos

Lots of new folks stopping in looking for the same advice, today :)

Welcome, and I don't think it's too late.

If you read enough, especially in the New Members' Forum, you'll see some common suggestions. I try and suggest what I have found works best for me, which is the Janty Stick, it uses a classic style atomizer and cartridge which is used in the DSE801 and Janty Kissbox. It's readily available from many suppliers, and gives good vapor production, decent throat hit, and great battery life. It does look a little strange, but you get over that quickly when you realize how great the product is.

If you want something more affordable, but still have good performance, look into a Joye 510, I have no experience with them myself, but many here swear by them, and most new to e-cigs love them.

JantyUSA sells a Joye 510 compatible device called the Dura-C, their version of the DSE801 (pen style) is the kissbox, and their uber PV is the Janty Stick (takes DSE801/kissbox atomizers and carts). They have a great warranty, good customer service, and fast shipping.

I also suggest to get a manual PV, the automatics seem to be a bit more problematic and are not satisfying enough for some people.

I say the 510 and many do love it... good throat hit and lots of vapor. If you order the kit from Rocky Mountain Vapor it ships free and you'll get it in 2-3 days! Order some extra juice for topping off your carts. It's a great starter PV IMO. If you're out alot you might also want to get a PCC and if you're a computer smoker like many are you might want a USB passthrough ;) Make sure to get the manual battery on the 510... much better than the auto!

A great, inexpensive entry level device is the m401. It is small, lightweight and around the size and shape of a 100's analog cigarette. It is easy to use, provides pretty good vapor for a small device and can be refilled with e-liquids from any source you shoose to buy from. I just picked up a m401 starter kit from VaporStuff for <$40. Rocky Mountain Vapor also has the m401 as well as many of the supporting suppliers here on ECF.

After you use a device like the m401 for a period of several weeks, make note of things you like and dislike about it. By then, you will have a better understanding of vaping and will have a list of things you need to have in the next device. And, yes, you will most likely want another device.
