I was just trying to find out the difference btwn that one and the ego 2.5. I was also looking into reviews on Riva 1100 that was suggested.

One difference is the one I linked is 900mah and the Riva you are talking about is 1100mah (milliamp hours) so the 1100 ones might last a couple more hours..most likely they are a bit longer too. Some say the KGO's put out higher volts under a load. Anyways I have 3 of the smok Tech batteries in that kit and have been using them months..I usually only charge one a day..but I also use some auto batteries.

Cool, I think I'm going with the one on sale then. For the price I think it will be a good starter for me, plus make any add-ons later. Thank you for all your advice!!!

I would get some of there TopVapor e-liquid in your order too to try different kinds..also those cartridges are prefilled in that kit so get some blank ones if you plan on using the atomizers with different liquid (you could wash them out too). Shipping will be $2.99 1st class mail on the order if it's under $75 over that it's free. I wouldn't waste money on any "faster" shipping 1st class the orders usually are at my door 2-3 days.

I was looking to get the Boge Refillabe 510 Cartomizer 2.0 or the Smok Tech 510 2.5. Is this what I will need to I'm not constantly adding to the atomizer?

The cartridge for the atomizer will hold quite a bit of liquid but not as much as cartomizers..I like to use 2.5ohm but a lot of people like using lower like the 2ohm..2ohms will get hotter so be more careful if you get them they can burn more easy but they can produce more/warmer vapor.

I myself use Ce2 cartomizers (wick style carts) but MadVapes stopped carrying them because of a supplier issue..if you like vaping and want to try CE2's just come back to the forums and people will point you in the right direction :)

The KGO's you linked are not in stock..the kit I linked from MadVapes are 900mah eGo's from Smok Tech. The E-Powers on that MadVapes page get pretty bad reviews.

Anything that is out of stock will be back in stock soon. And you can site specific examples of a majority of MadVapes E-Powers being bad? That does not sound like something the MadVapes owner would allow to continue.

The biggest difference is the Riva is a true 3.7 volt model and the ego is only 3.4 volts along with the Riva having a higher mAh battery. The Riva is a better deal all around.

I had terrible luck with the ego batteries I got at Mad Vapes. I think I had 4 of them that all died. It had to do with the fact that they constantly had to be adjusted. And these weren't the inexpensive batteries they were selling, these were from two kits.

Hoosier E Cigs has the best prices I've found on the E -go like (exactly alike) clones you'll find. About $45 for a kit. You'll need some (cheap) drip tips and extra dual coil cartomizers. Sounds all confusing, but Brent at Hoosier helped me when I was a newbie (immediately) and will walk you through everything.

I smoked 2 and 1/2 packs of Marlboro Menthol Light 100's for 38 years. I started out with the "E-go" and just (for the heck of it) got the "K-go." I started with Dekang Menthol juice (at 50 ml for a cheap price at Hoosier) then did some looking around.

Good luck!

Really I think that was a bad batch..I got my 3 late last summer for $9.99 because of that issue..all 3 still work..if you look at the Smok Tech eGo's they look like they rolled off the same assembly line as the KGO..the newer version looks just like the newer Joye.

You probably should have posted about them in the MadVapes forum or sent them a ticket maybe they would have done something for you. When I fried my 1st atomizer they sent me a free one and when I tried another one they sent me 2 without asking. It turned out the Carmel Tobacco I use is too thick for atomizers..it gunks up the coil fast.

Yeah I've read about that but haven't tested myself..my Smok Tech eGo's produce tons of vapor and last a long time (even 6 months in) so I'm not real worried about. I'm sure Riva's are ok..I've found that MadVapes prices are lower overall and when I started vaping I read a lot of good reviews on this site about them.

So at this point I haven't ordered anywhere else..if they don't get in CE2's I might have to in the future though..he isn't carrying them fort now because of supplier issues. Anyways he said he was trying the one on sale and if he liked e cigs he was getting a Riva later probably. I recommended he only buy 1 kit before spending hundreds..the atomizer kit he said he was ordering is $38.99 with a case so I doubt he will be unhappy..the batteries and charger alone cost more than $38 purchased separately.

Wow, who know ordering an ECIG would be so stressful. My pack a day increased too 2. No wonder people quit so quick my lungs are killing me tonight. I don't smoke in my house so it took me forever to get my order finally placed. I didn't chicken out this time...lol. It's on order:p I decided to go with the one on sale from madvapes. Plus I ordered some boge 2.0 and 6 5ml ejuices. Was hoping to get it b4 the weekend so could have time to figure how to use it. But probably won't get it until tues. Thanks for all the advice. I'm sure more questions will come.
Btw how do you insert a link to a web page?

IDK you might get it before the weekend..if not I would say you would get it monday..right after New Years when they were really busy I ordered on a Tuesday and received my order on Saturday.

To post a link right next to the smiley face button in the tools above where you type this is a little "world" looking thing with 2 linked "chain" looking thing..click that button and insert link...

If you haven't bought anything yet this kit just went on sale for $38.99 for the next 47 hours from when I posted this..it's the eGo atomizer kit. Smok Tech 510 Ego Kit with Carrying Case

Wow, that's a steal. My eGo kit from a mall vendor with 750 mha batteries with ONE cone, ONE charger but 20 cartridges and 2 atomizers was $150.00....yea, I didn't discover this place till after the purchase :(

Another ?, how do you change the name of the link to read what you want to say?

What you did wrong with your test link is pasted http and left the default http..if you do it right it will name it but you can also type a word highlight the word then click the link button and put in the link.

Named what I want it to say ;)
