If you were a mere few thousand miles closer, I'd be inviting myself over.
Hey what's a few miles? Come on over!

Dani, my in laws called yesterday to let us know they will be here tomorrow
I'll be glad to send them your way to keep you company
Sorry to hear about the lack of family approval/support. I'm not trying to make light of it, just trying to pawn my In laws off on someone![]()

OMG, that sounds delicious. We have friends in Alaska who send us smoked salmon every year for our birthdays. It is so delicious I can't even describe it.I'm spending my 4 day weekend making sausage and jerky and smoking a bunch of cheese. I'll just hit whatever strikes the mood, I can't really plan ahead what I want to vape!
He's not that far for me...maybe I'll invite myself over! Lol
My oldest daughter works in retail and works on Thanksgiving. Black Friday is bad enough, but Black Thanksgiving??? REALLY??? Grrrrrrrr....
Oh, that burns my behind. I refuse to support a business who makes their employees work on Thanksgivings.

Agree completely. We won't even go to their black Friday things on the actual Friday. We shop online. The Hades with that crap!
I do have a nice Brie and this yummy cheese with Jamaican jerk spices in it...we could throw the halibut in there too
Hmmmmmm....
Me too, Megan!!! Screw their black Fridays. And I spread the word all over Facebook and hope it makes a difference.
It probably doesn't help, but I hope it does, lol.

That sounds amazing!Brought all the stuff to the mountains with us. We're brining and baking a turkey, dressing is made and in the freezer, potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, deviled eggs, cranberries and pecan toffee pumpkin pie. All that with a couple bottles of wine, some time in the hot tub, a few games of pool, football and snow is in the forecast. We'll be stuck up here but I'd love for it to snow and we have plenty of food and NT juice.
Then I'm getting into my sisters SPC because I've never gotten to try any.
That's just wrong. My daughter works at a local theater/diner/bowling alley place. She's had to work every Thanksgiving and Christmas Day or Eve since she started there almost 8 years ago.
