if you want it to hook to any usb you would need the inline battery pt.. i would still get a usb hub so if anything happens it stops in the hub not the motherboard or power supply.. or just get a wall to usb adapter,

I have one of each the 5v and the 3.7 inline battery.. they both have advantages.. the 5v no battery gives better hit, but can not run off as many power sources as the 3.7.. the 3.7 worked nice since you do not have to plug it in all the time

I would ensure it's a USB hub that has its own power source. If it doesn't and draws power from the computers USB port, it's worthless... and it won't isolate the load from the computer's USB bus and may fry your MB if there is a short.

In fact, when using a PT on a USB hub, I would not plug the USB hub into my computer at all.

The best passthrough I have ever used is the Puresmoker PT. Built to last. Been using mine for over 6 or 7 months now still works fantastic. It costs a pretty penny but imo is worth every cent.:D Happy vaping! Don't know how to post links yet:oops: but you can find it at Puresmoker.com and they are located in the suppliers forum.:)

Hey digs,
How much do you want to spend?
You can go to vaprlife.com and check out their VP-PT.
This has safety features built into it. Like if the atty has a short, it won't work until you take off the atty and then it will work again.
Get an adaptor for the 801 to 510 and you can also use an 801 atty. Also, this comes with a stand and a wall adaptor for it. If you plug it into the comp you will get 4.5 and if you use the wall adaptor you get a true 5v vape.
Its awesome. I use to have one and didn't like 5v so I am only 3.7v now..
But who knows, I am thinking of getting another one. These have LED's and I had blue, now I want the purple.
Hope this helps you..

My favorite PT in 5v is the VP-PT. I have been using mine for about 3 months, M-F all day at work and she has never failed me yet. I do admit the the 510 is kind of strong on her and I use an 801 on it but that is just my preference.

You really do need to decide if you would want a 3.7 inline battery model or a 5v model.

I wasn't really looking to spend $70-80 for a PT but if that what it costs for a good one then I'll have to consider it. Unfortunately, I'm not really sure if I want a 3.7 or 5v model. I've only tried vaping at 3.7v with my eGo and so far I've been satisfied with it. I have been using my LR atties to simulate HV on occasion but I'm still not sure if I like it more than the normal atties. Sometimes I want more flavor and sometimes I just want more TH (especially if I'm drinking), so I've been going back and forth between the two.

Are there any PT's out there that offer both the 3.7V and 5V experience in one package?

Not that I know of. Well the good 5v pt's are gonna cost you and if you are not sure that you are gonna like them then I certainly would not want you to waste you money.

I might get this VP-PT but I have a question about HV devices like this. They basically just cause your atty to burn hotter, right? Wouldn't that lessen the lifespan of your atties? Are there atties specifically made for HV devices like this?

Personally, I would not call the VP-PT a HV device, it is 5v.

Yes, the higher the voltage the hotter the atty gets. You would not need a HV atty until you were vaping at 6v and above.

For a more reasonably priced, decent PT try madvapes
