Hello fellow vapers! I have a question for any long-time experienced vaper out there. What would you consider an adequate supply of e-liquid/spare parts ect. to last at least a year? Ballpark figure is all im looking for. Im a moderate vaper in that a 801 or 901 battery will last me until at least five oclock pm w/36mg juice. Im aware of the possible (probable) upcoming ban and would love to continue to vape instead of going back to tobacco. Thanks in advance!

Figure 2 to 3ml liquid per day, so go with the higher figure to be more secure of your liquid lasting a year.

As for atomizers, one a month is not enough for me to be comfortable, although it may be for others. I personally would want, at least, one for every two weeks. But then again, I am probably a heavier user than you.

I can't help you with batteries, as the proprietary ecig batteries are worthless in my estimation, sorry. So, for me, my supply is set because I use a Screwdriver, and the batteries it uses are cheap and always going to be available. Other battery mods are available too though, as well as USB passthroughs.

Vaping - I guess I'm more paranoid than you. Figure it - I only use my SD, and I have another two as backups. But, I have three USB passthroughs as backups to my backups (not to mention some mini-pipes). :D

More seriously, if I were you, I'd get another USB passthrough or two. Especially if they have auto switches, they are subject to the same failures as other ecig batteries.

Passthroughs are getting scarce, along with everything else. This Customs seizure hit the suppliers pretty hard. I just hope they can recover.

You guys are right. Im going to order a few more USB passthroughs, I guess I by default thought they were fail-proof, but realize that they as well as any other part are subject to failure. Good advice! As for the Gov't, we are increasingly living in a Nanny state, but they are NOT going to tell me what to do in terms of improving my own body. These e-cigs are not like steroids or something. Milton Friedman once said "Many people want the government to protect the consumer. A much more urgent problem is to protect the consumer from the government."

make ya own pass throughs.

They last much much longer, esp if yo put a switch on them and use 'proper' usb cables.

No way is this 1 USB passthrough i made going to die. Built to well. And using through Kessington.

I like the idea! Is there a post on how to make my own passthrough? I would love to make on my own as many parts as possible, as that would extend my supply :)

"Whats an adequate supply?"

There's no such thing. Ya might as well go chase unicorns. The way things stand right now, the only people who MIGHT have an adequate supply are the suppliers. :D

That is right! hehe

But at the same time, we all can be suppliers or better put- manufacturers
-We have to brew our own liquid and take good care of our atomizers so they last.... In the next coming days/weeks/months everyone should put and order in for 10-50 atoms evry few days until enough packages make it thru, until they have a good supply. Lets say, 200 atoms would hold one over for 10-20 years.

I am halfway there

You might want to check out some of the past posts by the folks like Walrus and Elendil. Those guys seriously have survivalist style stockpiles of stuff. Walrus's pics of his juice supply inspired awe and envy.

mmmm, got 901 DSE

So far I have

13 Batteries
25 Atomizers
2 Wall Chargers
2 USB Chargers
1 Homemade manual passthrough
About 75 pre fill carts

oh yeah and about 1400ml of juice in all various flavours

Might last me a few years ;)

LOL 1400ml? Wow some of you guys make me jealous. Ive spent overall about 800-900 dollars on stuff, always something good coming in the mailbox :) Too bad my paypal account expired this month. I wouldve kept going on this spending spree, prob is most places only accept paypal. :(
Hopefully someone someday will come up with a fool-proof way to extend an atomizers life before all of mine die.
