Debating on getting a flush wire cutter....

I have a little wooden box that I got from the Oregon Coast that I keep all my frequently used tools in, right now it has:

Precision scissors
Cotton Pad
Flush Cutters
Various Screwdrivers
Tweezers
Rods for wrapping coils.

Works pretty well so I don't have to drag out stuff from my vape drawer very often ;)

The torch is for annealing the Kanthal wire. It has a couple of purposes. Annealing Kanthal makes it less "springy" and easier to work with. It also coats the surface of the wire to help prevent shorts. And yes, a butane torch for cooking works just as well.

Annealing wire is no longer thought to be a necessary step in the process of coil building, as pulse firing the coil does the same thing.

The entire coilMaster DIY Kit is $40 - $50
