Whats missing here?

I am 100% new to e-cigs and I fumbled my way through this gotvapes.com purchase:

So obviously there is a piece missing, connecting the tank to the battery. What is this piece called? Should it have come with the order? If not what do I need?

Hahah there is nothing missing, you just don't have a sleeve, your vivi has a 510 connection but that is an Ego battery, ego batteries have a 510 screw which you know, but also and outer "ego" theading most people just put sleeves on to make the unit look nicer

here is what you are looking for

it will function fine without it. Your center post probably isnt making good contact, or there's no charge in the battery.

how is the device not working? no power (no light) when you hit the button (5-clicks of the button to activate)? is the coil not firing or creating any vapor (no popping sounds from the tank)?

if the latter is the issue the tank could be screwed down too tight on the 510 connection. The middle "pin" at the bottom of the 510 connection can in some instances get "squished" down such that the tank hardware is shorting out the connection.

has the battery been charged since you received it? does the light illuminate when there is nothing screwed to the 510 connection?

sorry for all of the questions, it looks like you have a pretty decent setup to start with.
