Okay so right now I am vaping on an mvp 2.0 with a mini protank 3. I like it for how cheap it is but I'm looking for something different. I am hearing a lot about the nautilus mini as well as rda/rba. It sounds like people who are using these could never go back to regular tanks. I only buy the mini protank 3 because I can rebuild it. I hate spending money on coils. I heard you can build the nautilus mini as well. But if that's the case wouldn't an rba be better? I don't think I would like a dripper cause that seems like a hassle.I guess my question is what would the best beginner rba/rda be. Also would I need a new battery. I haven't found a guide on this yet. When first looking and seeing all these $200+ devices it can get overwhelming. I heard some about the kayfun lite. That seemed relatively cheap. Anyways any help would be appreciated on what to do next.

The kayfuns are popular;
A dripper is worth trying; especially using for practise coil building because many tanks are difficult with being able to redo your coil without dumping your liquid. plus today's drippers you can vape longer than you can smoke 1 cigarette, so it's actually more like smoking a cigarette because it has a start and an end whereas with tanks, you tend to chain vape.

And no you won't need a new battery unless you use thick wire coils especially multiple coils, then you need more power to run them.

I use a couple of Russian 91% Version 1, the Version 2 Russian 91% I do not like. For the Kayfun clones I have the EHPro and like it, also hear the Hcigar and Black Edition are great clones. I find them easy to build and have a nice large deck. I think the flavor is great.

100 feet of kanthal wire is cheap and will last you a long time, I use 28ga and 30ga. I started with a bag of organic cotton balls and have since moved on to the Koh Gen Doh cotton and like it. Many people are using the Sally's Beauty Supply rayon and liking it.

The Nautilus is supposedly a PITA to rebuild. Watch a few youtube videos and see which will be a better prospect for you. It is no fun using an rba if you can not easily build it out and wick it.

Most people want their building experience to be fun and fruitful. The Kayfun Lite orginal is great but expensive. You may want to pick up a clone to play with to make sure it the route you want to go.

Thanks for the reply. But what is a clone. I know it is similar but I see alot of websites selling clones. Kinda confused by that.

I get confused with the exact definition of a clone. A clone to me is a copy of the original. Some are exact copies and some have minor changes. There is some controversy about whether it is right to buy a clone or not. Not my fight. I just know that there are many, many clones/copies of a more expensive, original design of the article.

An original Kayfun or Russian can cost well over $100. Many of the clones can be had for around $30 and sometimes less. You decide. There are threads here that discuss the matter. Most people start off with clones for price and whatever reasons.
