Oh boy!! Guys, lets attack the post and not the poster or this thread will be closed. mods keep a close eye on all Provari threads for this reason. Let's keep it clean and informative with a little humor thrown into the mix.

Simple: They are built to not break. And if you manage to do the nearly impossible - and break something - they can be repaired. There are all of maybe three devices in the market with that build and that backing.

What are the other two ?

Reo and Super-T

Reo and Super-T

I already own an VV Reo, now I have to check those Super-T as it is the first time I hear of them.

To come back to the op's original question, ( I don't own a Provari ), IMO the reliability, manufacturing quality and customer service and support are what makes Provari so popular. I also think Provaris are expensive and conservative on the technology aspect. This probably to keep their above mentionned qualities.

You know, there was a time when ProVaris were quite a bit more expensive than just about every other APV on the market. At that time it might be reasonable to question if they are really worth the money. But in a day where there are tons of $250 APVs and at least one that goes for $500, it seems rather silly to keep singling out Provape.

Thank you for this!

You are absolutely right!
In a world where I paid $120 for a SmokTech ZMAX, and still had to buy batteries and a charger, the $160 for a Provari is WAY cheap...especially when compared to the long list of other regulated APV's that go for $200+...
That doesn't even touch the list of mech mods that go for $200+...and those are just metal tubes with a varying number of switches...

So, if the OP is still around (and knows what OP means) there's another huge selling point for ya!
You don't even have to break the $200 mark, and you get a rock solid device, with a user interface that just plain works (outdated or not, it still works great), one button simplicity (we've already proven that ease of use based on number of buttons is totally subjective), and the quality of build that has yet to be matched (or cloned)!!!!
All of that is backed by THE best customer service in the marketplace.

If I were you, I'd stop reading this thread (if you're still here), and go start dropping hints to your lady, so she'll know to get you a Provari.

P.S. Anyone just update their TapaTalk iPhone app? Does it seem like they somehow took the autocorrect out of typing?

March of this year is when I began vaping so I have no long term experience. I have wanted a Provari since I heard of them but was waiting for VW. I will be getting a P3 when I can find one. I don't care what the price is. I want one. Having said that my Ego 1300's, VTR, Smok Zmax, Sigelei Zmax Evic, and Legend, have all worked perfectly well. My Vamo works just fine but the tail cap does warm up quite a bit. My Vision Spinner is just too long and my Ego 650s don't perform as well as the others. My favourite of the bunch is my VTR. I do like "made in USA" and I like Provape's attitude of sourcing in the USA when feasible. For me, the Provari is a luxury item. I really have no complaints with the others.

This is one of the main reasons that I asked if you are new to vaping.
Bcal, explain yourself. The seven-30 is easily more durable than a Provari in terms of its body. It's made out of STAINLESS STEEL. Are YOU new to vaping?

Edit: Considering buying a Provari and beating it to death with my seven-30 to prove a point.

So a product made out of stainless steel is hands down stronger then a product that is made out of stainless steel. Yea that make a whole lot of sense doesn't it.

Easy, my seven-30 weighs 8.45 oz empty whereas a Provari weighs 4.2 oz empty. It would crush it.
Gotcha so weight is the only determing factor in how durable a mod is gotcha. Oh and thanx for pointing out another benefit of the provari it's lighter yet still durable
