I prefer the 7 segment display over the OLED personally. More reliable, liquid/shock resistant, very unlikely to have a segment go out, easy to see in daylight, and I like the looks of it better. The OLED offers me nothing that I need & has several drawbacks compared to the 7 segment display for my use. Just my opinion.

I'm not calling out all Provari owners, just the ones who refuse to admit that the DNA30 device screen is MUCH better. It's not up for debate. I'll call out anybody who is blatantly denying facts (for any reason).

WHO CARES?, its not up for debate but you have been on here wasting over 30 pages of bandwidth for no good reason debating it. If it works for you great but it wont be ideal for everyone.

Same thing I've said already and being told I'm ridiculous for and obviously we are a blight on provari users worldwide

It's not a waste. Would you like some cheese? Baditude is serving bacon as well.

I care- I was just trying to help out the OP by recommending a Vapor Shark rDNA over a Provari. Somewhere along the line all the aggressively defensive Provari owners poured in and decided to debate with me. I love a spirited debate.

Where are all the mods so they can lock this fiasco once and for all, enough is enough!

To be honest, both reliably display the required data, so neither is functionally superior. All the you can say is that the OLED is more aesthetically pleasing to you. There may be others that prefer the more retro look of LED. This isn't HDTV that we are talking about here.

Wait. Hold up. Back up. I could watch TV on my Provari if it didn't have an inferior screen?

    ...

    Does it get cable?

Actually you interjected yourself into a op asking a question about a provari and we're asked to stay on topic and you got offended

The dna device is functionally superior though (even if it also had a 7-segment display). It delivers straight DC voltage. It is easier to make power adjustments. It has a wider range and finer resolution of available power settings. None of that is my opinion.

It's to outdated to get cable. You need one of those rabbit ear antenna and a .... load of aluminum foil.

Ahh.. yes I forgot. The 3 button conundrum all over again. Foiled!

If you have 3 Provaris (Provarae?), you then have 3 buttons. I think I'm on to something here. I forget what it is though. Is that cheese plate still going around? I hope there's some brie left.

I actually love the screen on the current Provari ... however, I only use a few functions ... PO/PD to change the power, CB to check my battery and AO to check my coil.

I prefer simple and durable

My 2 latest purchases cost the same money ... a brand new IPV-v2 for $120 and a brand new Provari mini blem for $117

there is no possible way the IPV could outlast the Provari.

    This is stupid.
I have 4 provaris and 5 DNA 30's. The screens on the dna's are, in fact, prettier. It is true that it could be a bit easier adjusting the power levels on the dna's.
All of the DNA devices I have are less than 2 months old. 3 of them have had to go back for various problems. 1 had a burned out screen segment (authentic evolv) 1 that constantly showed Too Hot (authentic evolv) and one started smoking out of the charging port (cana box)
All of my provaris are over a year old. One of them had to be sent back after I ruined the chip during reassembly following a refinishing job.
They do exactly what I bought them to do... every time. The dna's are used for something else... things the provari won't do. I would be amazed if any of them lasted a whole year and equally amazed if my provaris broke.
