My experience has been that cheaper juices have less complex flavors; and I'd say that is the "difference" you're asking about. five pawns isn't my favorite either, though I do like Perpetual Check enough that I buy it occasionally. My current favorite is The juice Society's Skyline, though I also love Cosmic Fog's The Shocker and Alpha Vape's Miss White.

That said, because I'm not vaping to quit smoking but for nerve pain, I stick to high nicotine levels, and I don't buy as much Skyline because it's highest nic level is 12mg/ml.

Is Five Pawns worth it's price? It is if it's worth it you. Everyone's different.

I've been disappointed with the pricey juices too. I've enjoyed Mt. Baker's cheap juices way more than the expensive juices I've tried. I think a lot of it is hype or people who are paid to post great reviews on certain juices. There was one pricey vendor that I enjoyed - Ms. T's Bakery. I enjoyed her Vanilla Custard and Snickerdoodle, but she took a real long time to ship so I stopped ordering. I haven't ordered any new juices in the past 6 months - I've been using pre-filled and disposables - but I've been tempted to try some of the new offerings.
