I really wish you could get a decent frigging German beer in the US. Well you can, but it's going to be a heffe or a pils.

Thanks for the pic, brings back memories of Bocholt.

Like everything else, you can get it online. Vintage Cellar is a good source - you're going to pay premium prices though...

Don't buy into the hype, MBV have beers for 7$ for 30ml...

There is nothing subjective in taste of beer. Only porter and IPA are suitable for drinking. I am not saying that other beers are worthless, for example Brazilian beers like Budweiser work good enough in slug traps.

Hmmm - I always thought that Budweiser was a Czech beer? Not the American stuff with rice in it, obviously. Everything about beer is subjective imho.

After six weeks to the day i have been vaping regular vapeshop juice. The other day I tried some Five Pawns and it made me gag. really! am I just missing something or what?

Trying Five Pawns (or any juice for that matter) in a vape shops CE4 test rig doesn't even come close to what the juice really tastes like. Plus, every flavor has it's audience. I've had Castle Long and Perpetual Check from them. The only one I liked was Castle Long and that's been my "all day vape" for the last 6 months or so. Perpetual Check was give to me and I never liked it, didn't even finish the bottle...

Taste is subjective...

Warpigs rocks!,
Wow I saw the banner at the bottom of your post...that is so cool, I quit stanky's for vaping becuz of the money..that just reminded me!

Yep those packs/cartons add up. Cig's are so expensive now (Marlboro Reds) I cannot afford to smoke even if I really wanted to hehe. But after 580+ days the chance of me going back to smoking/chewing is a non-issue. /crosses fingers.

As someone who tended bar at the Hofbrauhaus in West Springfield, Ma for about 6 years, I find this comment mildly offensive.

Not surprisingly, a segment of the vaping markets has developed that is drawn to name dropping and cool packaging versus simply flavor. As vaping has become more widely available, that part of our culture has seeped in. All it takes is a little shilling and slick packaging, and they reel them in.

For me, at about 8ml a day, the $25+ liquids would cost me about what smoking did - unnecessary, and to me, ridiculous.

I DIY for the most part at about $1.50 per 30ml. I occasionally get a few favorite premixed liquids priced between $14 and $20 per 30ml that I find are worth every penny. Not smoking and great flavor at a good price is all I need, saving enough to take a vacation and enjoy a few great beers!

This reminds me I need to get back to Golden, Colorado for another plant tour...

Meine Leute! I've always wanted to take a trip to Germany... Colorado has it's fair share of microbrews... But I need to go to the homeland!

Lol -- well I got sucked in.. I've been doing DIY for just over 5 months so what I've spent on ejuice has been well very minimal. I've only been building up my flavorings "library" Idk what else to call it. BUT I do have coming in the mail today the Signature Series sample pack from Five Pawns. Granted I only spent what? $21 or $23 I can't see spending $27 for a 30ml I've never tasted although Gambit sounds awesome so I'd probably take a chance with that one if I was to take a chance.

But still when I think about it I'm only getting 5 - 4ml samples -- so I did spend $23 on 20mls of juice WOW what a deal. Well seeing as I haven't bought any other juices in almost 6 months I'll give myself a break. I guess this afternoon I'll be able to see what all the fuss is about.

For me the main German draw is not beer itself (OK, dunkel is good), but beer gardens. Their settings, atmosphere and, of course, food... Have not seen any American imitation that is good enough.

P.S. As for Diebels - it is good for Brazilian beer, better than Budweiser, but it is Brazilian...

It's no different than some people liking a store brand over a name brand. Sometimes we are willing to sacrifice taste/quality for cost and other times the store (less pricey) brand is just as good, or better, than the name brand. Everyone's tastes are different and all juices are different. Just because it is cheap doesn't mean it isn't good and just because it is expensive doesn't mean it is good.

There are some expensive juices I really like and there are some that I find horrible. Two out of three of my favorite juices are some of the cheapest available ($7 for 30 ml), but the other is one of the more expensive ($25 for 30 ml). I chain vape so as much as I love this $25 juice I'm not going to spend the money to vape it exclusively when I am just as happy with alternating with less expensive juice and my own DIY for some flavors.

To this day, I've never figured out how to vape the pretty packaging.

6c/ml is an expensive juice ($1.80 for 30ml)
Haha!!
In psychology there is a phenomenon extensively studied that states if you paid a high price you are more likely to enjoy it, because when that same item is a bargain the truth comes out, usually it is what it is....so paying more creates a need to like it to justify what you paid....
I fall with the I try everything but am slave to no juice or company, there's so many juice mfg. that it's out there somewhere else. Just without pretty bells and whistles.

I've been at DIY juice for quite awhile now. I'm not much for 5 pawns, but castle long is absolutely amazing. I can't even wait to try the new black flags line. I'll buy some every once in awhile and run it through a dripper. I'll treat it like some expensive alcohol and enjoy the taste. However spending $30+/week on ejuice is definitely out of my budget.
