For someone who is either looking into switching to vaping or someone who has recently purchased a kit and wants to quit smoking the 'stinkies' whether its something you've been told or something you came up with on your own.
The best thing I learned when switching was that I needed to remind myself that vaping and smoking are not at all the same. At first I would take my e-cig and go sit by the fire escape window and open it up and go through the motions of smoking while vaping and try to keep it exactly the same as the habit I was trying to break. With that mentality, I was unable to stop smoking and would end up going out to the store and buying a pack (at $11/pack it got really expensive.) When I finally told myself that vaping wasn't the same as smoking and I didn't have to treat it the same, it was much easier to resist a cancer stick and just sit in front of my TV with my e-cig and vape away without having to move.. LOL vaping is the ultimate lazy activity
Anywho, that's my little nugget of wisdom.. Look forward to hearing what else has been said
