The Hana Mod clones have been glitchy to say the least. I'd pay 10 bucks more and go at the IPV V2 box mod...IPV V2S 60 Watt Box Mod Black | eBay
The S stands for a better box and a 10w extra power, from 50 to 60w

do they perform the same? i like the look of hana little bit better. i think thr sensor thing kinda silly

Another vote for the iStick; I upgraded from an iTaste, and it still occurs to me on a daily basis how much more I like it. Since I don't drive, I take the bus and walk everywhere, and it not only feels better to hold (and better quality) but also feels a lot more secure (especially being able to wrap your index finger over the top to totally contain it in your grip). That's not to mention the performance, battery life, charge time, and that it seems to have a true pass-thru (as opposed to the iTaste, which always uses the battery). You're also never searching for the button.

I like the iStick a lot. I bought one, and then a second I liked it so much. Also bought my wife one. I also have an MVP, actually on my third. While it's a good box and very reliable I don't like that it only goes to 11W, even with just a Nautilus I often find myself wanting more power. After having the new stuff the display just seems old school as well. Between the two the iStick is my choice easily.

I'm also shopping for something new and am giving the Cloupor T8 a hard look. It is pushing your price to max but looks like a really nice mod. I don't need anywhere near the power it has but like the battery life of two 18650's and the look of it. I definitely getting an egrip for compact stealth vaping situations. For reasons I can't explain also about to pull the trigger on a Hana just to have one nice authentic in my arsenal.

My final answer is two iStick's so you have a spare.

I've had an HCigar Hana, an MVP, three iSticks, an IVP1 and now an IPV3. If I had to recommend a step-up device for someone who isn't looking to rebuild, I'd recommend the iStick over the MVP for

1) size
2) potential power (if you get a Nautilus, for instance, IMO those run better around 12 watts on an iStick [whatever that equates to on the iStick] plus if you do decide to rebuild, you can go down to 1.0 ohm on the iStick)
3) modernity, which may not be an issue for you, but I remember very well the MVP and while it works like a truck, so does the iStick. The iStick is more discreet and has more features.

I had shorting issues with the Hana clone (it wouldn't read an atomizer if it wasn't screwed in a certain way) plus mine needed time to "ramp up" to heat the coil. With the iStick, like the IPVs, power and heat comes almost instantly.

Plus, for the price, you can get two iSticks -- and a new atomizer, to boot.

Just my thoughts! Good luck.

DNA30 is such old technology these days in the vaping community. If I was going to get a regulated mod, it would be ipv3 or sigelei 100w, because they have great power, are in a good price range, and fire atomizers down to at least 0.2 ohm.

But, if you don't want to advance to this level, have shaky hands, or just don't want to bother with learning about the best rebuildables, then you would probably be happy with any mod that does 15 watts since there is no use for the features or power levels of the high-power box mods.

Of the two you are looking at, they will both probably vape the same.... as long as there are no issues with the clone. It should be noted that an authentic device (istick) generally has less issues with QA and manufacturing. With any clone you are taking a bigger risk with the hopes of saving a lot of money.
